Installation Instructions for Dodge RAM 2500/3500 (Front Mounted Receiver)
(With Factory Tow Hook Package)

Tools Required:

• 11/16” Wrench
• 17mm Wrench
• Tape
• Torque Wrench

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Protect Fascia Perimeter:

   • Use tape to cover the edges of the fascia opening to protect the chrome or paint (see Figure 1).

2. Remove Factory Tow Hooks:

   • Remove the factory tow hooks and fasteners.
   • Set the tow hooks aside and return the fasteners to the vehicle owner.

3. Insert Fasteners into Tow Hooks:

   • Before raising the hitch, insert the provided M10 bolts through the tow hooks as shown in Figure 2.

4. Raise Hitch into Position:

   • Lift the hitch into position and align it with the holes in the tow hook mounting brackets.

5. Reattach Tow Hooks:

   • Raise the tow hooks back into position.
   • Insert the M10 fasteners through the hitch brackets and into the tow hook mounting brackets (see Figure 3).

6. Secure Fasteners:

   • On the reverse side of the tow hook mounting brackets, install the provided M10 hex nuts and 3/8” conical washers.

7. Torque All Fasteners:

   • Tighten all M10 fasteners to 53 lb-ft (72 N-m) using a torque wrench.

Hardware List:

• (8) M10 x 1.50 x 60 CL10.9 Hex Bolts
• (8) M10 x 1.50 Hex Nuts
• (16) 3/8” Conical Washers

Safety Notes:

• Periodically check the hitch to ensure all fasteners are tight and structural components are sound.
• If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in body panels to prevent water and exhaust fumes from entering.
• Warning: Do not exceed the vehicle’s Front Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR).
• Maximum Cargo Capacity: 500 lbs.
• Maximum Winch Line Pull: 9,000 lbs.
• Replace any damaged hitch or components immediately.

Manufacturer Notes:

• Always wear eye protection when working beneath the vehicle.
• Do NOT cut access or mounting holes with a torch.
• This product complies with SAE J684 and VESC Regulation V-5 safety standards.
