Remove Plastic Fascia (Driver-Side Frame Rail):
- If present, remove 5 fasteners securing the plastic fascia covering the driver-side frame rail.
- Return the fascia and fasteners to the vehicle owner.
Optional: Trim and reattach the fascia after hitch installation.

Clean the Weldnuts:
- Locate the 2 weldnuts near the end of each frame rail.
- Clean the weldnuts of debris or rust to ensure bolts thread easily.
- Use compressed air or lubricant to remove debris. For heavy debris, use a wire brush (avoid damaging threads).

Raise the Hitch into Position:
- Slide the passenger-side plate of the hitch over the exhaust first.
- Align the hitch with the frame rails.

Install Hardware (Passenger Side):
- Secure the hitch using the provided M12-1.25 x 35mm bolts and 1/2" conical-toothed washers into the existing weldnuts.

Fishwire Hardware (Driver Side):
- Use the 7/16" fishwire tool to guide a 7/16-14 x 1-1/2" carriage bolt and square hole spacer through the access hole in the driver-side frame rail.
- Secure the bolt using a 7/16" serrated-flange nut.
Fishwire Technique:- Thread the fishwire through the hitch mounting hole and out the access hole.
- Slide the spacer onto the wire, then thread the carriage bolt into the coil end.
- Pull the fishwire to guide the hardware into position.

Torque Fasteners:
- Torque all M12 bolts to 86 ft-lbs.
- Torque all 7/16" hardware to 70 ft-lbs.
