- If there is access to insert the bolt and spacer into the frame rail from the end, drilling is not required.
- Some vehicles have tie-down hooks that allow frame rail access.
- If your vehicle is equipped with an exhaust vibration dampener that interferes with the side plate, bend or pry the dampener away as needed.

Fishwire Bolts and Spacers into Frame Rail:
- Use the fishwire tool to pull 1/2" carriage bolts and square hole spacers through the holes in the bottom of the frame rail.
- Note: Drilling an access hole in the frame rail may be required if there is no access from the end.

Position Hitch:
- Place the provided spacer on the passenger side bolt.
- Raise the hitch into position and hand tighten the fasteners.

Fishwire Remaining Fasteners:
- Fishwire the remaining carriage bolts and square hole spacers into position.
- Secure the bolts with conical tooth washers and hex nuts as shown in the diagram.
