Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Position the hitch.
- Raise the hitch into position, aligning its holes with the weld nuts in the frame rails.
- Refer to the weld nut cleaning detail if necessary.
Step 2: Secure the hitch to the frame.
- Attach the hitch to the weld nuts using M12-1.25 x 40 hex bolts and 1/2" conical toothed washers.
Step 3: Torque the hardware.
- Torque all M12 hardware to 86 ft-lbs.

- (2) M12-1.25 x 40 Hex Bolts
- (2) 1/2" Conical Toothed Washers
Safety Notes:

Installation Instructions for Nissan NV 1500, NV 2500, and NV 3500

Wiring Access Location:
- S3: Behind the driver-side rear access panel.
- S4: Behind the passenger-side rear access panel.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Open the Rear Cargo Doors
- Open the rear cargo doors to access the vehicle's taillight wiring harness.

Access the Driver-Side Wiring
- Locate the taillight wiring harness connectors inside the driver-side access pocket in the cargo area.
- Separate the connectors from the taillight housing, ensuring the locking tabs remain intact.

Connect the T-Connector (Driver Side)
- Insert the T-Connector end with the yellow wire between the separated connectors.
- Ensure the connectors are fully inserted with the locking tabs secure.

Ground the White Wire
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the connector, such as an existing screw or nut in the vehicle frame.
- Alternatively, drill a 3/32" pilot hole and secure the white ground wire using the provided screw.
Warning: Check for miscellaneous items that may be hidden behind or under any surface before drilling to avoid damage or personal injury.

Route the T-Connector (Passenger Side)
- Remove the rear scuff panel.
- Route the T-Connector end with the red and green wires behind the removed scuff panel to the passenger side.
- Remove the jack for easier installation.
- Repeat steps 2–3 for the passenger-side wiring connections.

Mount the Converter Box
- Locate a flat spot inside the vehicle, near the taillight.
- Secure the black converter box using the provided double-sided tape.

Route the Black Power Wire
- Route the black power wire from the vehicle battery as outlined in the included CME-PCL-INS sheet.

Secure and Store the 4-Flat Connector
- When in use, route the 4-flat connector to the center of the vehicle.
- When not in use, roll it up and store it in a convenient, out-of-the-way location.
- Secure any loose wires with the provided cable ties.

Reinstall Components
- Reinstall all items removed during the installation process.
- Install the provided 4-flat dust cover to protect the connector from corrosion.
