Installation Instructions for T-One® T-Connector for Ford F-150
Part Numbers:

Tools Required:
- Trim Panel Remover
- Drill (3/32” Drill Bit)
- 1/4” Socket
- Philips Head Screwdriver
- Test Probe
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Locate Tow-Plug Harness:
- Underneath the vehicle on the driver’s side, locate the vehicle’s Tow-Plug harness behind the rear tire.
- Separate the connector carefully without breaking the locking tabs. Ensure all connector surfaces are clean and free of dirt.

Insert T-One® Connector:
- Insert the T-One® Connector harness into the vehicle’s Tow-Plug harness and lock it into place.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the connector.
- Clean the area of dirt and rustproofing.
- Drill a 3/32” hole and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
- Caution: Verify what is behind the surface before drilling to avoid damage or injury. Do not drill into exposed surfaces.

Route the 7-Way Harness:
- Determine the mounting location for the 7-Way connector.
- Route the harness containing the seven wires along the inside of the bumper toward the center of the vehicle and the mounting location.
- Warning: Avoid routing wires near hot pipes, heat shields, the fuel tank, or any areas that could pinch or damage the wire.

Consult 7-Way Diagram:
- Refer to the included 7-Way diagram for proper wire locations.

Install the 7-Way Socket:
- Plug the 7-way socket (provided) into the Trailer Tow Harness.
- Mount the 7-Way connector in an accessible location using a bracket or electrical box (not included).

Secure the Harness:
- Secure the remaining harness using the provided cable ties to prevent damage or rattling.
- Avoid areas that could pinch, cut, or melt the wires.

Test the Installation:
- Ensure all connections are complete for proper T-One® Connector functionality.
- Reset the vehicle’s electrical system by temporarily removing the ignition key.
- Test the installation with a test light or trailer.
Warning: Overloading circuits can cause fires. Do not exceed the following ratings:
- Max. stop/turn light: 10 amps
- Max. tail lights: 10 amps
- Max. backup: 10 amps
- Max. power circuit: 20 amps
- Max. trailer brakes: 3 axles/6 brakes (18 amps)
