For Tundra:
- Ensure the vehicle is off and the keys are removed from the ignition.
- Locate the access panel in the center of the dash on the driver’s side:
- Use a trim panel puller to carefully pry the panel away from the dash at the notch.
- Disconnect any housings attached to the panel and set it aside.
- Pull the wiring harness housing toward the access panel opening.
- Plug the white housing from the brake control adapter into the wiring harness connector.
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the connector:
- Use an existing ground stud or drill a 3/32” hole.
- Secure the white ground wire using the eyelet and screw provided.
- Clean dirt and rustproofing from the area before securing.
- Route the adapter through a hole in the bottom of the dash.
- Use a flashlight to locate a routing path.
- Complete the installation following the brake controller manufacturer’s instructions.
- Plug any unused connectors back into their original housings and snap the access panel back into place.
For Tacoma:

Mounting Instructions:

Select a Suitable Mounting Location:
- Must be securely mounted to a solid surface.
