Installation Instructions for Chevrolet Blazer (2019-Present)
Part Numbers:

Tools Required:
- Ratchet
- Torque Wrench
- 8" Socket Extension
- Sockets: 7mm, 3/4"
- T-15 Torx Bit Socket

Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Remove Vehicle Brackets and Lower Exhaust
- Use a T-15 socket to remove two screws securing the rear vehicle brackets on the fascia. Save screws for reinstallation.
- Remove three exhaust hangers to lower the exhaust.
- Tip: Support the exhaust while lowering to prevent damage.
Step 2: Fishwire Hardware
- Fishwire three square hole spacers (#3) and three 1/2" carriage bolts (#1) through the access holes and out the mounting holes on each side of the vehicle.
- Remove the access panel by unscrewing two wing nuts and pulling it down. Set the panel aside for reinstallation.
Step 3: Install Hitch
- Raise the hitch into position, aligning it with the mounting holes on the frame.
- Secure the hitch using three 1/2" flange nuts (#4) on each side.
- Use a 3/4" socket to torque all 1/2" hardware to 110 ft-lbs.
Step 4: Reassemble Vehicle
- Reinstall the vehicle bracket screws and exhaust hangers removed in Step 1.
- Reinstall the access panel removed in Step 2.
Weight Carrying Capacity:
- Gross Trailer Weight (GTW): 5,000 lbs.
- Tongue Weight (TW): 750 lbs.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Disconnect Battery:
- Locate the vehicle battery on the driver side under the hood.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Locate Vehicle Connector:
- Find the vehicle connector behind the rear bumper in the center of the vehicle.
- The connector will resemble the one on the CURT wiring connector.

Separate Connectors:
- Detach the vehicle connectors from the weather seal connectors.
- Be careful not to damage the locking tabs.

Connect Wiring Harness:
- Insert the CURT wiring connector into the vehicle connector.
- Ensure the connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs in place.

Position 4-Flat Connector:
- When in use, route the 4-flat to the center of the vehicle.
- When not in use, roll up and store in a convenient, out-of-the-way location.
- Secure any loose wires with the provided cable ties.

Reassemble and Finalize:
- Reinstall all items removed during installation.
- Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Install the provided 4-flat dust cover to help prevent corrosion.
Safety Notes:
- Product Rating: Do not exceed the product rating or the tow vehicle lamp load rating, whichever is lower. Exceeding the product rating can cause loss of warranty, overheating, and potential fire.
