Installation Instructions for 2015-Present Ford F-150
Part Number:

Tools Required:
- Ratchet
- Torque wrench
- Sockets: 10mm, 13mm, 15/16"
- Masking tape
- Safety glasses
Hardware List:
- 2 × U-shaped spacers, 0.188" x 1.00" x 2.00"
- 6 × Square-hole spacers, 0.250" x 1.25" x 2.50"
- 4 × 5/8"-11 x 1-3/4" Grade 8 carriage bolts
- 4 × 5/8"-11 hex flange nuts
- 4 × 5/8" fishwires
- 1 × M8-1.25 x 25mm hex flange bolt
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Prepare Vehicle:
- If present, remove the grounding cable from the rear of the passenger-side frame rail using a 10mm socket. Retain the fastener for reinstallation.
- Lower the spare tire to provide additional workspace during the installation.

Position U-Shaped Spacers:
- For the rearmost holes on both frame rails, tape a U-shaped spacer into the recess in the frame to ensure proper alignment during hitch installation.

Fishwire Carriage Bolts:
- Use the provided fishwires to guide two 5/8" carriage bolts and square-hole spacers through either an access hole or the end of each frame rail. Leave the hardware in the frame with the fishwires attached to facilitate hitch attachment.

Mount the Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position, carefully pulling the fishwires to bring the carriage bolts into their final positions through the hitch mounting holes.
- Remove the fishwires carefully and loosely install the supplied 5/8" hex flange nuts onto the carriage bolts.
- If the grounding cable was removed in Step 1, reinstall it using the provided M8 hex flange bolt.

Torque Fasteners:
- Torque all 5/8" fasteners to 210 lb-ft to ensure secure attachment.
- Raise the spare tire back into its original position.

- Load Capacities:
- Weight Carrying: 10,000 lbs. trailer weight, 1,000 lbs. tongue weight.
- Weight Distribution: 12,000 lbs. trailer weight, 1,200 lbs. tongue weight.
- Warning: Never exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity.
- Maintenance:
- Periodically check this receiver hitch to ensure all fasteners are tight and all structural components are sound.
