Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Exhaust Hangers:
- Detach exhaust hangers on both sides. Apply lubricant to the metal hanger rod and rubber isolator to ease removal.

Position Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position.
- Insert two (2) 4-1/2” hex bolts and blocks through the frame and hitch on both sides.
- Install conical washers and 1/2” hex nuts. Hand-tighten only.

Install Carriage Bolts and Blocks:
- Use the provided fishwire to guide the carriage bolt and block through the square hole forward on the frame. Keep the bolt and block separate until they are inside the frame.
- Install conical washers and 1/2” nuts. Hand-tighten only.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Tighten all (4) 1/2” fasteners to the specified torque:
- Hex bolts: 40 Lb.-Ft.
- Carriage bolts: 75 Lb.-Ft.
- Tighten all (4) 1/2” fasteners to the specified torque:

- (2) 1/2”-13 x 1-3/4” Gr. 5 Carriage Bolts

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Taillight Assemblies:
- Open the trunk and remove the plastic wing nuts (2 per side) located behind the taillights in the trunk.
- Carefully pry the taillight housings away from the vehicle, ensuring not to break the alignment tabs.

Locate and Disconnect Wiring Harness:
- Locate the vehicle’s taillight wiring harness on both sides of the vehicle. The wiring harness has connection points matching the T-Connector ends.
- Carefully disconnect the connectors, ensuring not to damage the locking tabs. Ensure all connector surfaces are clean and free of dirt.

Connect Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Insert the T-Connector end with the yellow wire between the driver-side wiring connectors. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and locking tabs are secure.

Route Passenger-Side T-Connector and 4-Flat Harness:
- Route the green wire and 4-flat harness down through the opening behind the driver’s side taillight.
- Route the 4-flat harness underneath the vehicle to the center, and the green wire across the vehicle to the passenger-side taillight.
- Route the green wire up through the opening behind the passenger-side taillight.
Warning: Avoid routing wires near hot pipes, heat shields, fuel tanks, or areas that may pinch or damage the wires.

Connect Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Insert the T-Connector end with the green wire between the passenger-side wiring connectors. Ensure connections are secure.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the driver-side connector. Clean the area of dirt and rustproofing.
- Drill a 3/32” hole and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
Caution: Verify what is behind any surface before drilling to avoid damage or injury.

Connect the Power Wire:
- Disconnect the vehicle’s Negative (-) battery cable. Remove the fuse from the yellow fuse holder.
- Attach the ring terminal of the fuse holder to the vehicle’s Positive (+) battery cable and secure.
- Connect the other end of the fuse holder to the black 12-gauge wire using the yellow butt connector.

Route Power Wire to T-Connector Black Box:
- Route the black wire from the engine compartment to the rear driver’s side of the vehicle. Avoid areas that could damage the wire.
- Connect the black wire to the red power wire on the T-Connector’s black box using the yellow butt connector.

Reconnect Battery and Install Fuse:
- Reconnect the Negative (-) battery cable and insert the 10-amp fuse into the fuse holder.

Secure and Test Installation:
- Mount the T-Connector black box on the driver’s side using the provided double-sided tape.
- Secure the harness with the provided cable ties to prevent damage or rattling.
- Test the installation using a test light or trailer.

Reassemble Vehicle Components:
- Reinstall the taillight housings, ensuring the wiring harness is positioned between the housings and the vehicle body.
