Installation Instructions for Toyota Tundra and Toyota Sequoia (Front Mounted Receiver)
Part Numbers:

Tools Required:
- 17mm Socket
- 18mm Socket
- Ratchet
- Torque Wrench
- Utility Knife (for trimming, if needed)
- 4” Hole Saw (optional for skid shield modification)
- Safety Glasses
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Front Tow Hooks:
- Use a 17mm socket to remove the (2) M12 bolts securing the tow hooks on both sides of the vehicle.
- Set the tow hooks aside for reinstallation in later steps.

Raise the Hitch into Position:
- Position the hitch on the frame rails where the tow hooks were located.
- Align the hitch holes with the existing mounting holes.

Install Fasteners:
- Install the supplied M12 x 1.25 x 55mm bolts with 1/2” conical washers (teeth side toward the hitch).
- Use (2) bolts and washers per side.

Torque the Fasteners:
- Using a torque wrench, tighten all M12 hardware to 42 lb-ft (57 N-m).

Trim the Skid Shield (If Required):
- If the vehicle is equipped with a front skid shield, remove it.
- Enlarge the 4” hole shown in Figure 2 to allow for oil filter access.
- Reinstall the trimmed skid shield once the hitch is securely mounted.
Hardware List:
- (4) M12 x 1.25 x 55mm Hex Bolts (CL 8.8)
- (4) 1/2” Conical Toothed Washers
Safety Notes:
- Periodically check the hitch to ensure all fasteners are tight and components remain secure.
- If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the vehicle frame to prevent water and exhaust fumes from entering.
- Warning: Do not exceed the vehicle’s Front Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR).
- Maximum Cargo Capacity: 500 lbs.
- Maximum Winch Line Pull: 9,000 lbs.
Manufacturer Notes:
- Always wear eye protection when working under the vehicle.
- Do NOT use a torch to cut or enlarge holes in the frame or body panels.
- This product complies with SAE J684 and VESC Regulation V-5 safety standards.
