Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Existing Bolts:
- Remove and discard the M12 hex bolts from the end of each frame rail if present.

Remove Ground Wire:
- Detach the ground wire and ground wire bolt from the driver’s side frame rail if present.

Position Receiver:
- Lift the receiver into position, aligning the slots in the receiver with the weldnuts in the vehicle frame.
- For vehicles without a bumper, align the slot in the receiver with the fore/aft slot near the end of the frame.

Install Fasteners:
- Install the M12 hex bolts (supplied) and conical washers through the receiver into the weldnuts in the vehicle frame.
- Install the remaining fasteners as shown in the instructions.

Reinstall Ground Wire:
- Secure the ground wire and ground wire bolt to the hole in the side of the receiver side bracket.

Spacer Installation for 6' Beds:
- On 6' bed models with heavy-duty suspension, position the spacer (Item 3) at the forward-most attachment on the driver’s side to ensure clearance of rivets. The spacer must sit flat on the frame.
Torque Specifications:
- Tighten all M12 CL10.9 fasteners to 75 Lb.-Ft. (102 N*M).
- Tighten all 1/2"-13 GR5 fasteners to 75 Lb.-Ft. (102 N*M).

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Installation Instructions for T-Connector Adapter

Wiring Access Location:
- Left rear frame rail of the vehicle.
Tools Required:
- Electrical tape or tie straps (not supplied).
- Drill with a 3/32" drill bit.
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Locate the vehicle’s taillight wiring harness along the inside of the left rear frame rail.
- This harness will have a connection point with connectors matching the ends of the T-connector adapter.

Separate the harness connectors.
- Note: Be careful not to break the locking tabs.
- Ensure that the mating surfaces of the connectors are free of dirt and clean them if necessary.

Insert the T-connector adapter between the harness connectors and lock into place.
- Verify that the connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs secure.

Locate a suitable grounding point near the connector, such as the vehicle's frame or crossmember.
- Note: Do not drill into the vehicle floor or bed.
