Step-by-Step Instructions:

Disconnect License Plate Light Wiring:
- Disconnect the wiring connection from the bumper to prepare for removal.

Remove Bumper:
- Remove the two bolts mounting the bumper to the bumper brackets on each side and remove the bumper.

Remove Bumper Brackets:
- Remove the bumper brackets from the frame rails by removing the two bolts on each side.

Install Receiver:
- Position the receiver on the frame and install the 1/2" bolt and block through the rear-most hole in the frame rail into the angle bracket, as shown in the diagram.

Reinstall Bumper Brackets:
- Place the bumper brackets over the receiver side bracket, ensuring the tab fits into the hole provided in the side bracket.

Reinstall Bumper:
- Place blocks between the bumper mounts and bumper brackets. Use the fasteners removed in Step 2 to reinstall the bumper. Reconnect the license plate wiring connection.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Tighten all M12 CL8.8 fasteners to 68 lb-ft (92 N*m).
- Tighten all 1/2"-13 GR5 fasteners to 75 lb-ft (102 N*m).
Torque Specifications:

- 1/2"-13 GR5: 75 lb-ft (102 N*m)

Installation Instructions for T-Connector Adapter
Part Numbers:

Wiring Access Location:
- Tail light assemblies on both sides of the vehicle.
Tools Required:
- Drill with a 3/32" drill bit.
- Screw or cable ties (provided in the kit).
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove both tail light assemblies to access the connectors.
- The lens cover, seal, and housing will separate when the screws are removed.

Starting on the left (driver’s) side, route the T-Connector’s harness containing the 3 bonded wires from under the vehicle through the tail light opening.
-
Disconnect the vehicle’s wiring harness connector from the tail light assembly.
- Plug the T-Connector between the separated halves, ensuring the connectors are fully inserted and secure.

Route the connector with the green wire across the vehicle along the vehicle frame.
- Pass the wire out from under the vehicle through the right (passenger’s) side tail light opening.
- Repeat step 3 using the connector with the green wire.

Locate a suitable grounding point near the connector.
- Clean the area of dirt and rustproofing.
- Drill a 3/32" hole and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
- Note: Do not drill into the vehicle floor or other exposed surfaces.

Reinstall the tail light assemblies removed in step 1.
