Position the Receiver:
- Lift the receiver up to the frame of the vehicle.
- Align the large holes in the receiver brackets over the rivet heads on the frame.

Install Bolts to Weld Nuts:
- Install four (4) 1/2" serrated washers onto four (4) 12mm hex bolts.
- Insert the bolts through the receiver brackets and into the weld nuts in the frame.

Install Carriage Bolts and Plates:
- Place two (2) bolt plates over two (2) 1/2" carriage bolts.
- Insert the bolts down through the frame and receiver brackets.
- Secure with 1/2" serrated washers and 1/2" lock nuts.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Torque the 12mm bolts to 75 lb-ft (102 N·m).
- Torque the 1/2" nuts to 75 lb-ft (102 N·m).
Torque Specifications:
- 12mm Bolts: 75 lb-ft (102 N·m)
- 1/2" Nuts: 75 lb-ft (102 N·m)

Installation Instructions for T-Connector Adapter
Part Numbers:

Wiring Access Location:
- Underneath the vehicle, near the driver’s side frame rail.
Tools Required:
- Drill with a 3/32" drill bit.
- Tie wraps (provided).
- Double-sided tape (provided).
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Disconnect the vehicle’s negative battery cable.
-
Temporarily remove the battery hold-down bracket and slide the battery toward the motor (Fig. 2).
-
Locate the vehicle’s gray connector between the battery and the fender.
- Remove the cap and install the trailer harness fuse holder connector.
- Tie-wrap the gray connector and fuse harness to the vehicle’s wiring.
- Return the battery to its original position (Fig. 1).
- Note: If the vehicle has a pre-installed 30-amp trailer harness fuse holder, do not use it. Remove and replace it with the provided yellow fuse holder and 10-amp fuse (15-amp maximum allowed).

Route the trailer harness fuse holder wiring to the positive battery terminal, between the battery and the vehicle’s fuse box.
- Attach the ring terminal of the trailer harness fuse holder to the positive battery post (Fig. 2).

Secure the trailer fuse holder wire with two tie wraps (Fig. 3).
-
Reinstall the battery hold-down bracket.
- Insert the 10-amp fuse into the yellow fuse holder.
- Reconnect the vehicle’s negative battery cable.
-
Locate the vehicle’s eleven-pin trailer tow plug underneath the vehicle, on the driver’s side near the frame rail (Fig. 4).
- Remove the cap and plug the T-Connector harness into the vehicle’s connector.
-
Test the installation with a test light or trailer.
-
Use the double-sided tape to mount the T-Connector black converter box to the truck end sill.
- Clean the mounting surface with a 50/50 water-alcohol solution before mounting (Fig. 6).

Secure the T-Connector wire harness to the vehicle’s harness using the provided cable ties.

- Use the provided tie wraps to secure the fuse holder wire to prevent movement or damage.

Reinstall the Battery Bracket:
- Reinstall the battery hold-down bracket, ensuring it is securely in place.
- Insert the 10-amp fuse into the yellow fuse holder and reconnect the vehicle’s negative battery cable.

Locate the Trailer Tow Plug:
