Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Factory Components:
- Remove the (6) bolts securing the (2) fascia support brackets. Return the brackets and fasteners to the vehicle owner for future reinstallation if the hitch is removed.
- For vehicles with a factory hitch, remove it as the rear fascia must be removed and reinstalled.

Prepare the Vehicle:
- Remove the tow hook and electrical bracket from the vehicle frame, returning them to the owner with fasteners.
- If applicable, unplug the wiring connector from the impact bar and remove any plastic wire holders.

For Toyota 4Runner Only:
- Trim fascia tabs near the bottom of the impact bar as needed.

Install the Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position, ensuring the factory 7-way connector is above the hitch's crosstube during installation.
- Align side brackets with existing tow hook holes at the frame rails' ends. Secure with fasteners.

Secure the Components:
- Insert the nut block handle assembly (M12) into the impact bar slots and install the M12 hex bolt with a 1/2" conical washer.
- Attach the factory 7-way connector to the hitch's provided electrical bracket using (2) 1/4" hex bolts and flange nuts.

Install Zip Cable Ties:
- Attach the provided zip cable ties (4) through the spare tire bracket to create a loop. Feed the remaining (2) zip cable ties through the fascia tabs and the large loop, securing them together.

- (6) Conical Washers: 1/2"

Step-by-Step Instructions:
Tow Vehicle Inputs - Determination:
- Disconnect and isolate the vehicle's negative battery terminal.
- Warning: Read and follow all warnings and instructions on the tow vehicle's battery.
- Splice the tow harness input wires to the vehicle as determined.
- Caution: Use appropriate gauge wire splices. Blue taps are for 16-18 gauge wires only.
Harness Installation:
- Determine the mounting location of the module and secure it using the double-sided tape provided.
- Warning: Mount the module with the epoxy side pointed towards the ground to prevent water buildup.
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the module, such as an existing ground stud, or drill a 3/32” hole to secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
- Caution: Verify what is behind any surface before drilling to avoid damage or personal injury.
- Route the power wire to the vehicle’s positive battery terminal. Use the provided fuse holder, butt connector, and ring terminal to connect to the battery.
- Do not insert the 15 amp fuse yet.
- Caution: Ensure the module is connected to a constant power source and avoid routing the wire near hot pipes, heat shields, fuel tanks, or pinch points.
Completion:
- Secure the harness with cable ties provided to prevent damage or rattling.
- Reconnect the vehicle's negative battery cable.
- Insert the 15 amp fuse into the fuse holder and close the cap.
- Test the installation using a test light or trailer. Check each function independently and in combination.
