Step-by-Step Instructions:
For 1999-2004 Models:

Remove Appearance Panel:
- If present, remove the plastic appearance panel covering the driver’s side frame rail.
- Return the appearance panel and fasteners to the vehicle owner.

Lower Exhaust:
- Lower the vehicle exhaust to allow for hitch installation.
-
Install Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position.
- Install the six (6) M12 fasteners and blocks using the forward slots on the hitch side brackets.

Reinstall Exhaust:
- Reinstall the vehicle exhaust to its original position.
For 2005 & Later Models:

Lower Exhaust:
- Lower the vehicle exhaust to allow for hitch installation.

Install Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position.
- Install the six (6) M12 fasteners and blocks as shown in the diagram.

Reinstall Exhaust:
- Reinstall the vehicle exhaust to its original position.

- (6) M12 x 1.25 x 35mm CL8.8 Bolts
- (6) 1/4” x 1-1/2” x 3” Blocks
- (6) 1/2” Conical Washers
Torque Specifications:
- Tighten all M12 CL8.8 fasteners to 68 lb-ft (92 N·m).
Safety Notes:
- Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened.
- If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent water and exhaust fumes from entering.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
- Follow all safety precautions when working beneath the vehicle, and wear eye protection.
- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.

Installation Instructions for T-Connector Adapter for Honda Odyssey
Part Numbers:

Tools Required:
- Trim Panel Remover
- Flat Screwdriver
- Test Probe
- Pliers
- Protective Cloth
- 10mm Socket or Wrench
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Open the Rear Door:
- Fold the rear seat forward.
- Temporarily remove the rear threshold plate using a trim panel remover.
Note:
- Use pliers and a protective cloth to remove threaded cargo net hooks. Set aside all removed items carefully to avoid damage.

Locate the Fuse Panel:
- Locate the fuse panel cover near the rear seat on the driver’s side.
- Open the cover to access the relays and fuses.
- Partially remove the lower interior trim panels, being careful not to damage the clips.
-
Route the T-Connector Wiring:
- Starting from the cargo area, route the white T-Connector end up and behind the trim panel to the rear fuse box.
-
Connect Backup Sensor Harness (if equipped):
- If the vehicle has accessory backup sensors, unplug the sensor harness 14-pin connector from the rear fuse box.
- Plug the backup sensor harness into the mating T-Connector end.

Connect the T-Connector:
- Plug the white 14-pin T-Connector end into the mating connection in the fuse box connector.

Ground the White Wire:
- Route the white wire with the eyelet towards the back of the vehicle near the threshold area.
- Locate the existing ground stud. Loosen the bolt, place the eyelet on the stud, and re-tighten the bolt.
Warning:
- Ensure all other ground connections are secure when removing and reattaching the ground stud.

Connect the Grey 12-Pin Connector:
- Insert the grey 12-pin connector into the mating connector on the black box module.
- Ensure all connector surfaces are clean and fully inserted with locking tabs secure.

Mount the Black Box Module:
- Locate a flat, dry surface inside the vehicle to mount the black box using the provided double-sided tape.
- Secure the remaining T-Connector harness with cable ties to prevent damage or rattling.
Warning:
- The black box module must be mounted inside the vehicle to avoid damage from moisture or exposure to elements.

Install the Fuses:
- Install a 10-amp fuse into the rear fuse box position #8.
- Install two 7.5-amp fuses into rear fuse box positions #2 and #11.
Warning:
- Overloading circuits can cause fires. Do not exceed the manufacturer’s ratings.

Test the Installation:
- Test the T-Connector with a test light or trailer.
- Reset the vehicle’s electrical system by temporarily removing the key from the ignition, reinserting it, and turning it to the proper position.

Mount the 4-Flat Connector:
- Mount the 4-flat connector in an accessible location.
- If routing through a grommet and along the vehicle exterior, avoid hot pipes, heat shields, or areas where the wire could pinch or break.

Reassemble the Vehicle:
- Reinstall the threshold plate, trim panels, cargo net, and cover.
- Ensure no wires are pinched or cut during reassembly.
