Lower the Exhaust:
- Remove the exhaust from its hangers to provide better access to the frame fastener locations.

Position the Hitch:
- Raise the hitch on the passenger side over the exhaust pipe.
- Slowly rotate the hitch into its proper position under the vehicle.

Secure the Hitch:
- Loosely install all provided bolts into the existing weldnuts in the frame.
- Push the hitch forward against the installed bolts for proper alignment.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Using a torque wrench, tighten all M12 fasteners to 76 lb-ft (103 N·m).

Reattach the Exhaust:
- Reattach the exhaust hangers to their original positions.

- (6) M12 x 1.25 Hex Bolts
- (6) Conical Washers
Safety Notes:
- Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened.

Installation Instructions for T-Connector Adapter
Part Numbers:

- Drill with 3/32" Drill Bit
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
- Wire Crimpers
- Wire Cutters
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove the Rear Taillight Assemblies:
- Open the rear door and remove both taillight housing assemblies by removing three screws for each light.
- Carefully pry the taillight housing assembly away from the vehicle, avoiding damage to alignment tabs.

Driver’s Side Connection:
- Disconnect the vehicle wiring harness from the taillight socket.
- Plug the T-Connector end with the yellow wire between the driver’s side taillight socket and the vehicle wiring harness.

Route the Wiring:
- On the driver’s side, route the T-Connector end with the green wire and the 4-flat connector down through the opening between the bumper and body.
- Route the green wire to the passenger side, being careful to avoid hot pipes, heat shields, the fuel tank, or other points that may damage the wire.
- Bring the green wire up through the opening on the passenger side and repeat Step 2 for the T-Connector with the green wire.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the connector, such as the vehicle's frame or crossmember. Avoid drilling into the vehicle floor or bed.
- Clean the grounding area to remove dirt and rustproofing.
- Drill a 3/32" hole and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
Caution:
- Verify what is behind the surface before drilling to avoid vehicle damage or personal injury.

Connect the Power Wire:
- Disconnect the vehicle’s negative (-) battery cable.
- Cut the yellow fuse holder wire and attach the ring terminal to the positive (+) battery cable.
- Connect the other end of the fuse holder to the black 12-gauge wire using the provided yellow butt connector.
- Route the black 12-gauge wire along the frame rail from the front of the vehicle to the rear driver’s side taillight area.
- Connect the black wire to the red wire from the T-Connector black box using the supplied yellow butt connector.

Reconnect the Battery and Install the Fuse:
- Reconnect the vehicle's negative (-) battery cable.
- Install the 10-amp fuse into the fuse holder.

Mount the Black Box and Secure Wiring:
- Clean a flat area behind the driver’s side taillight assembly with rubbing alcohol and water.
- Mount the T-Connector black box using the provided double-sided tape.
- Secure the T-Connector harness with cable ties to prevent damage or rattling, avoiding areas that could cut or pinch the wire.

Reinstall the Taillight Assemblies:
- Position the vehicle wiring harness between the housing and the vehicle body.
- Reinstall the taillight housing assemblies.
