Step-by-Step Instructions:

Notify Vehicle Owner:
- Inform the vehicle owner that minor trimming of the fascia is required for proper hitch installation.

Mark Trimming Area:
- Using a felt-tipped pen, measure and mark the area to be trimmed on the bottom inside section of the license plate mounting area, as described in Figure 1.

Trim the Fascia:
- Carefully cut out the marked area of the fascia using a utility knife.

Position the Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position, aligning the holes in the hitch with the two rearmost weldnuts in the bottom of the frame rail on both sides.

Install Fasteners:
- Loosely install the M12 hex bolts and conical toothed washers (4 total).
- Center the hitch on the fasteners.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Using a torque wrench, tighten all M12 CL8.8 fasteners to 76 lb-ft (102 N·m).
Hardware List:
- (4) M12 x 1.25 x 35mm CL8.8 Hex Bolts
- (4) Conical Toothed Washers
Safety Notes:
- Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened.
- If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent water and exhaust fumes from entering.

Installation Instructions for T-One® T-Connector for Suzuki Grand Vitara

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Open the Rear Hatch:
- Temporarily remove the rear threshold plate, storage covers, jack, and floor covering.

Partially Remove Rear Interior Trim Panels:
- On both the driver and passenger sides, remove the panels to expose the taillight wiring harness.

Locate the Taillight Wiring Harness:
- Find the vehicle’s taillight wiring harness on both sides. It will have a connection point matching the T-Connector ends.
- Separate the connectors carefully, ensuring all surfaces are clean and free of dirt.

Connect the Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Insert the T-Connector end with the yellow wire between the vehicle’s wiring connectors.
- Ensure connectors are fully inserted and locking tabs are secure.

Route the Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Route the T-Connector end with the green wire to the passenger’s side behind the panels and along the threshold.
- Repeat Step 4 for the green wire T-Connector.
