Raise Hitch Into Position:
- Align the hitch with the existing weldnuts located inside the vehicle frame rails.

Install Fasteners:
- Attach the hitch using the following components:
- (4) M10 x 1.25 x 30mm CL10.9 Hex Bolts
- (4) 7/16” Lock Washers
- (4) 3/16” x 1.00” x 2.00” Spacer Blocks
- Tighten bolts finger-tight to hold the hitch in place.
- Attach the hitch using the following components:

Torque Fasteners:
- Using a torque wrench, tighten all M10 CL10.9 fasteners to 59 lb-ft (80 N·m).

Final Inspection:
- Verify all fasteners are properly tightened.
- Check for interference or misalignment and adjust as necessary.

Installation Instructions for T-Connector Adapter
Part Numbers:

- 10mm Socket & Ratchet or Wrench
- Drill with 3/32” Drill Bit
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
- Test Probe
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Prepare the Rear Cargo Area:
- Open the vehicle’s rear tailgate.
- On the driver’s side, remove the access panel to locate the rear of the taillight. Repeat on the passenger side.
- Remove the threshold, trunk floor panels, and trays. Set aside all items carefully to avoid damage.

Remove Trim Panels:
- Remove two screws in the threshold plate area to gain access behind the trim panels.
- Partially remove the lower interior trim panels on each side of the vehicle, being careful not to damage clips. Set aside all items carefully.

Locate the Vehicle’s Taillight Wiring Harness:
- On both the driver’s and passenger’s sides of the vehicle, locate the taillight wiring harness.
- The harness will have a connection point matching the ends of the T-Connector.
- Separate these connectors, ensuring not to break the locking tabs. Clean all connector surfaces of dirt.

Install the Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Insert the T-Connector end with the yellow wire between the vehicle wiring connectors.
- Lock the connectors into place, ensuring they are fully inserted and the locking tabs are secure.

Route the Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Route the T-Connector end with the green wire to the passenger’s side.
- Repeat step 4 on the passenger side using the T-Connector with the green wire.

Ground the White Wire:

- Clean the area to remove dirt and rustproofing. Drill a 3/32” hole and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.

- Verify what is behind the surface before drilling to avoid damage or injury. Do not drill into exposed surfaces.

Mount the Black Box:
- Mount the T-Connector black box using the provided double-sided tape.
- Secure the remainder of the T-Connector harness with the provided cable ties, avoiding areas that could pinch, cut, or damage the wire.

Reassemble the Vehicle:
- Reinstall the access panels, trays, trunk floor panels, and threshold.

Store the 4-Flat Connector:
- Store the 4-flat connector in the trunk or rear cargo area when not in use.
