Prepare Vehicle:
- If needed, lower the spare tire to provide better access for hitch installation.

Position the Hitch:
- Raise the hitch receiver over the exhaust pipe and into position between the vehicle’s frame rails.

Install Fasteners:
- Secure the hitch to the existing weldnuts in the vehicle frame using:
- (4) M12 x 1.50 x 40mm CL10.9 Hex Bolts
- (4) Conical Toothed Washers
- Hand-tighten all bolts to hold the hitch in place.
- Secure the hitch to the existing weldnuts in the vehicle frame using:

Tighten Fasteners:
- Using a torque wrench, tighten all M12 CL10.9 fasteners to 92 lb-ft (125 N·m).

Reposition Spare Tire:
- If the spare tire was lowered, raise it back into its original position.
Hardware List:
- (4) M12 x 1.50 x 40mm CL10.9 Hex Bolts
- (4) Conical Toothed Washers
Safety Notes:
- Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened.
- If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent water and exhaust fumes from entering.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.

- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.

Locate the Vehicle’s Trailer Harness Connector:
- The trailer harness connector is located under the vehicle, behind the rear bumper on the passenger side.

Remove the Protective Cap:
- Remove the protective cap from the connector and set it aside. Check that the mating surfaces of the connectors are clean and free of dirt. Clean if necessary.

Connect the T-Connector Adapter:
- Attach the T-Connector adapter end to the vehicle’s connector. Ensure the T-Connector is fully inserted with the locking tabs secured.

Secure the Wires:
- Bundle and secure the wires to the vehicle using the provided cable ties.

Test the Installation:
- Verify that all connections are complete for the T-Connector to function properly.
- Test the installation using a test light or trailer.
