J-Pin® ready receiver design allows for the most confident and secure hookup in today’s towing market by compressing the hitch-mounted accessory against the inner side wall of the hitch receiver tube. Once attached, the hitch and towing components seem virtually welded together.
Packaged complete with its integral ball mount lock, J-Pin® makes your towing system complete.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Position the Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position as shown in Figure 1.
- Use the fasteners to attach the hitch uprights to the bumper bracket.

Install Remaining Fasteners:
- Attach the remaining fasteners as shown in the instructions.
- Ensure the round spacer washer (Item 4) fits into the slot on the bumper bracket and is sandwiched between the bumper and hitch brackets.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Torque all 1/2” GR5 fasteners to 75 lb-ft (102 N·m) using a torque wrench.

Reinstall Spare Tire:
- If the spare tire was removed for installation, reinstall it. Ensure the spare tire does not contact the bolts.

- (4) 1/2”-13 x 2.0” GR5 Hex Bolts
- (8) 1/2” Conical Washers
- (4) 1/2”-13 Hex Nuts
- (2) Round Spacers
- (2) Spacers 1/4” x 2.50” x 1.75”

- Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened.
- If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent water and exhaust fumes from entering.

- Follow safety precautions when working beneath the vehicle, and wear eye protection.
- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
