Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Prepare the Vehicle:

   • Remove or bend up small plastic fascia tabs protruding from the bottom of the bumper fascia before installing the hitch.

2. Install Clamp Brackets:

   • Attach the clamp brackets to the vehicle's crossmember using bolts and lock washers.
   • Torque the bolts to 75 lb-ft (102 N*m) before raising the hitch into place.
   • Ensure the bracket with weld nuts is on the forward side of the crossmember. The offset hole should face the passenger side.

3. Prepare the Hitch:

   • Tape blocks and bolts to the hitch uprights as shown in the instructions. Ensure the blocks are positioned with their long sides vertical.

4. Position the Hitch:

   • Raise the hitch under the vehicle, being careful not to dislodge the taped bolts.
   • Loosely attach conical washers and nuts to hold the hitch in place.

5. Secure the Forward Block:

   • Rotate the hitch and insert a 5/8” thick block vertically between the hitch bar and the clamp bracket.
   • Secure with a 3” long hex bolt and conical washer. Torque the 3” bolt and the two rearward 1/2” nuts to 75 lb-ft (102 N*m).

6. Final Torque:

   • Tighten all fasteners to the specified torque values.

Tools Required:

• Drill with a 3/32" drill bit.
• Phillips head #2 screwdriver.
• Wire cutters, wire strippers/crimpers.
• Tester or volt meter.
• Socket and ratchet set.
• Double-sided tape (provided).

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Installation of the Module:

1. Determine the mounting location for the module.

   • Use the provided double-sided tape to secure the module.
   • Ensure the epoxy side of the module faces downward to prevent water buildup.

2. Connect the module’s black wire to a 12-gauge (or larger) power wire using a yellow butt connector.

3. Locate a suitable grounding point near the module:

   • Drill a 3/32" hole if necessary and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and self-tapping screw.
   • Clean the grounding area of dirt and rustproofing.

   Caution: Verify what is behind the surface before drilling to avoid damage or injury.

Routing Power to the Battery:
