Installation Instructions for Chevrolet Silverado Pickup, Suburban 1500 2WD & 4WD, Tahoe 1500 2WD & 4WD;

Tools Required:
- 3/4" Wrench
- 18mm Wrench
- Drill
- 1/2" Drill Bit
- Torque Wrench
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Factory Fasteners:
- For vehicles equipped with factory tow hooks, remove the (2) M12 fasteners from the frame rails.

Position the Hitch:
- Place the front-mounted hitch into position:
- For models with OEM tow hooks: Secure the hitch using the supplied M12 fasteners and washers.
- For models without tow hooks: Secure the hitch using the supplied 1/2" fasteners, washers, and handle nuts.
- Place the front-mounted hitch into position:

Drill Frame Holes:
- Using the hitch as a template, drill (2) 1/2" holes into the vehicle’s frame rails.

Install Remaining Fasteners:
- Install the remaining 1/2" bolts, conical washers, and handle nuts into the drilled holes.
- Tighten the hardware securely.

Torque Fasteners:
- Torque all M12 CL10.9 fasteners to 75 ft-lbs (102 N-m).
- Torque all 1/2" GR5 fasteners to 50 ft-lbs (68 N-m).

Trim Air Dam (If Necessary):
- On most 2006 Suburban and Yukon models, the air dam must be trimmed to clear the hitch.
- Consult the vehicle owner before trimming.
Hardware List:
- (2) M12 x 1.25 x 35 Hex Bolts
- (4) 1/2"-13 x 1-3/4" Hex Bolts
- (4) 1/2" Handle Nuts
- (4) 1/2" Conical Washers
Safety Notes:
- Periodically check this receiver hitch to ensure all fasteners are tight and structural components are sound.
- If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the vehicle frame to prevent water and exhaust fumes from entering.
- Warning: Do not exceed the vehicle’s Front Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR).
- Maximum Cargo Capacity: 500 lbs.
- Maximum Winch Line Pull: 9,000 lbs.
- Damaged hitches or balls must be replaced immediately.

- Observe all safety precautions when working beneath the vehicle, including wearing eye protection.
- Do not cut holes with a torch.
