Prepare Carriage Bolts:
- Place two (2) 1/2" carriage bolts with large bolt plates through the two rear holes on each side of the frame.

Position Hitch:
- Raise the hitch to the frame, with the bolts extending down through the rear holes in the brackets.

Install Rear Fasteners:
- Install 1/2" flat washers, lock washers, and nuts on the bolts.

Install Front Fasteners:
- Place 1/2" carriage bolts with small bolt plates down through the front mounting locations.
- Ensure the bolt plates are turned sideways, laying flat on the bottom of the frame.

Secure Fasteners:
- Install conical washers (teeth side against the hitch), lock washers, and nuts on the front bolts.

Tighten All Fasteners:
- Torque all 1/2"-13 Grade 5 fasteners to 75 lb-ft (102 N*m) using a torque wrench.

Installation Instructions for T-Connector Adapter

Wiring Access Location:
- Rear taillight wiring harness behind the interior trim panels near the doors.
Tools Required:
- Drill with a 3/32" drill bit.
- Philips head screwdriver.
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Access the Taillight Wiring Harness:
- Remove the rear interior trim panels located near the doors to expose the vehicle’s taillight wiring harness.
- The harness will have a connection point on both sides matching the T-Connector adapter.

Driver’s Side Connection:
- Disconnect the vehicle’s wiring harness connectors on the driver’s side, being careful not to damage the locking tabs.
- Plug the T-Connector end with the yellow wire between the mating plugs on the driver’s side taillight socket and the vehicle’s wiring harness. Ensure the connectors are fully inserted and locked using the existing and provided locking tabs.
