Measure Trailer Coupler Height: - Measure from the ground to the top of the trailer coupler and record this height. - Measure the height from the ground to the front and rear bumpers of the towing vehicle for reference. 2. Install the Shank and Hitch Head: - Insert the adjustable shank bar into the receiver tube of the tow vehicle and secure with the hitch pin & clip. - Attach the hitch head to the shank, sliding it to the appropriate bolt hole position that matches the target trailer ball height. 3. Attach the Hitch Ball: - Select a 1 1/4" threaded-shank hitch ball to match the trailer coupler and ensure the load capacity exceeds the gross trailer weight. - Attach the ball to the hitch head using a lock washer and nut. 4.
