Installation Instructions for Nissan Frontier, Nissan Pathfinder, and Suzuki Equator (Front Mounted Receiver)
Part Numbers:

Tools Required:
- Ratchet
- Torque Wrench
- 10mm Socket
- 17mm Socket
- 19mm Socket
- Utility Knife (for trimming air dam, if required)
- Tape Measure
- Marker
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove the Air Dam (Optional Trim):
- Remove (6) hex fasteners securing the center lower air dam using a 10mm socket.
- Return the air dam to the vehicle owner or trim as shown in Figure 2.
- If trimming, reinstall the modified air dam with the original fasteners.

Remove Front Tow Hooks:
- Remove (2) hex bolts per front tow hook using a 17mm socket.
- Remove the tow hooks and return them to the vehicle owner.

Raise the Hitch into Position:
- Raise the hitch into place and align the mounting holes with the existing weldnuts in the vehicle frame.

Install Fasteners:
- Install the hitch using the supplied:
- M12 x 1.25 x 40mm hex bolts (Qty. 4)
- 1/2” lock washers (Qty. 4)
- 7/16” flat washers (Qty. 4)
- Refer to Figure 1 for the proper order of fasteners.
- Install the hitch using the supplied:

Torque Fasteners:
- Torque all M12 fasteners to 76 lb-ft (103 N-m) using a torque wrench.

Reinstall Air Dam (If Trimmed):
- If the air dam was trimmed, reinstall it using the original fasteners removed in Step 1.
Hardware List:
- (4) M12 x 1.25 x 40mm CL 10.9 Hex Bolts
- (4) 1/2” Lock Washers
- (4) 7/16” Flat Washers
Safety Notes:
- Check the hitch periodically to ensure all fasteners are tight and structural components remain sound.
- If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the frame to prevent water or exhaust fumes from entering the vehicle.
- Warning: Do not exceed the vehicle’s Front Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR).
- Maximum Cargo Capacity: 500 lbs.
- Maximum Winch Line Pull: 9,000 lbs.
Manufacturer Notes:
- Always wear eye protection when working under the vehicle.
- Do NOT use a torch to cut or enlarge holes in the frame.
- This product complies with SAE J684 and VESC Regulation V-5 safety standards.
