Installation Instructions for FORD F-150 Adapter Kit

- Torque Wrench (75 ft-lbs)
- Pull Wire for Rib Neck Bolts

Pre-Installation:

Precautions:
- Read the safety information provided in the full installation PDF before starting.
- Check for obstructions such as fuel lines, brake lines, etc., before drilling.
- Repaint any areas where the paint is damaged to prevent corrosion.
Installation:

Bed Rail Installation:
- Measure from the rear edge of the truck bed to the rear edge of the base rail and mark the position.
- Drill eight holes for the kit plus two additional center holes.
- Use slotted spacers to fill bed corrugations above or below the bed as needed.

Frame Bracket Attachment:
- Attach the driver-side front adapter bracket using a circular block to match the embossed area of the frame.
- Use a 1/4” x 1.50” x 3” block and a 3/8” x 1.50” x 2” block to secure the bracket to the frame.
- Attach the carriage bolt, conical washer, and nut to secure the bracket. Torque to 75 ft-lbs.

Rear Bracket Installation:
- Drill and install rear brackets using the same process as the front.
- Ensure all bolts are tightened securely to prevent movement during use.
Optional Weld Pattern:
- Tubular frames require extra caution due to thinner walls. Use optional welding patterns to enhance durability.
Important Notes:
- For trucks with a 5.5’ bed, use a Sidewinder Pinbox Coupler for safe operation.
- Ensure there is no direct contact between steel components (spacers, brackets, etc.) and the aluminum truck bed to prevent corrosion.
- Repaint drilled areas to maintain corrosion resistance.
Maintenance:
- Inspect all fasteners periodically for proper torque.
- Reapply paint to exposed areas as needed to prevent rust.

- Limited Ten-Year Warranty
- Covers defects in material and workmanship under normal use.
