Installation Instructions for Powered A-Frame Jack
Tools Required:

Step-by-Step Instructions:
General Installation Notes:
- Block the trailer wheels and support the trailer tongue.
- Ensure the powered A-frame jack is mounted on the top surface of the A-frame coupler.
- Disconnect the trailer battery ground cable.
Installation Instructions:
- Place the jack outer tube through the A-frame coupler hole.
- Secure the jack using three (3) 3/8" diameter, 1" long grade 5 bolts, nuts, and lock washers. For proper grounding, use lock/star washers to ensure metal-to-metal contact between the jack and coupler. Torque bolts to 15-20 ft-lbs.
- Route the black wire lead from the jack along the trailer to the battery. Use cable ties or equivalent to secure the wire lead.
- Connect the wire lead directly to the positive (+) terminal of the battery. Reconnect the battery ground cable.
- Test the installation by activating the motor switch to ensure the jack extends and retracts properly.
Operation Instructions:
- Chock the trailer wheels securely.
- To raise the trailer:
- Open the coupler and toggle the motor switch to extend the jack.
- To lower the trailer:
- Toggle the motor switch in the opposite direction to retract the jack. Fully retract the jack until the "STOP" decal is visible on the inner tube. Ensure the coupler is fully engaged and closed.
- In case of power loss:
- Remove the round plastic cap on the top of the jack.
- Insert the included manual crank and rotate in the desired direction.
Maintenance:
- The motor is sealed and maintenance-free.
- Maintain the electrical system, including the battery and charger (not included).
- Ensure all connections are tight and free of corrosion. Verify proper grounding between the jack and coupler (metal-to-metal contact).
- Keep the battery fully charged before use.
- If necessary, clean the jack with mild soap and water. Avoid using high-pressure water sprays.
Safety Notes:
- Do not allow children to play near the jack or the supported load.
- Never exceed the rated capacity of the jack. Refer to product markings or decals for the rated capacity.
- Regularly check mounting hardware for proper torque and tighten if necessary.
- Always replace bent, broken, or worn parts before use.
- Avoid applying side forces as they may cause jack failure.
- Ensure the supplied pin is fully inserted when using the drop foot or drop leg.
- Block the trailer wheels to prevent rolling during operation.
