Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Spare Tire and Carrier:
- Remove the spare tire and its carrier from the vehicle.
- If under-box tire storage is to be retained, the spare tire carrier will need to be relocated or modified after the receiver is installed.

Position Hitch:
- Place the hitch on the vehicle, aligning the rear attaching holes with the slots at the end of the frame.

Center the Receiver:
- Ensure the hitch is centered on the frame.
- Use the hitch as a template to drill or enlarge the remaining holes.

Install Fasteners:
- Place the provided spacer blocks inside the frame rails and secure all fasteners as shown in the installation diagram.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Torque all 9/16"-18 GR5 fasteners to 110 lb-ft (149 N*m).
Torque Specifications:
- 9/16"-18 GR5 bolts: 110 lb-ft (149 N*m)
Hardware List:
- (8) Hex Bolts, 9/16"-18 x 1-3/4" GR5
- (2) Spacer Blocks, 3/8" x 1-1/2" x 3" (Single Hole)
- (2) Spacer Blocks, 3/8" x 1-1/2" x 3" (Two Holes)
- (2) Spacer Blocks, 3/8" x 1-1/2" x 2"
- (8) Flanged Locknuts, 9/16"-18
Safety Notes:
- Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are securely tightened.
- If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent water or exhaust fumes from entering.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
- Always observe safety precautions and wear eye protection when working beneath the vehicle.
- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
