Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Tie-Down Bracket:
- If present on the passenger-side frame rail, remove the tie-down bracket to enlarge the access hole.

Lower Exhaust:
- Remove three (3) bolts from the rubber isolator hanger bracket on both sides.
- Support the exhaust to prevent damage.
- For additional access, remove the next forward isolators. Use lubricant or soapy water to ease removal.

Enlarge Access Hole:
- Use a 1-inch step bit or die grinder to enlarge the access hole on the bottom of the frame to allow the carriage bolt and spacer to pass through on both sides.

Install Fasteners:
- Feed the coiled end of the pull wire through the rearward hole and out the access hole.
- Attach the spacer and carriage bolt to the pull wire and insert them into the frame rails through the hole.
- Push the fasteners into position, leaving the pull wires attached. Repeat on both sides.

Position Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position, feeding the pull wires through the holes in the hitch.
- Pull the fasteners back through the frame rails and hitch brackets.

Attach Washers and Nuts:
- Slide the conical washer over the pull wire, holding the bolt in place, then remove the pull wires.
- Attach the hex nuts and tighten to secure the hitch. Repeat for all fasteners.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Use a torque wrench to tighten all 7/16 GR5 fasteners to 50 Lb.-Ft. (68 N*M).

Reinstall Exhaust:
- Raise the exhaust back into position. If necessary, use lubricant or soapy water to assist in reattaching the isolators.

Paint Exposed Metal:
- Paint or touch up any bare metal created while enlarging the access hole to prevent rust.

Reattach Tie-Down Bracket:
- If removed in Step 1, reattach the tie-down bracket.

- (4) Carriage Bolts: 7/16-14 x 1.75 GR5
- (4) Spacers: .250 x 7/8 x 3
- (4) Conical Washers: 7/16"
- (4) Hex Nuts: 7/16-14 GR2
