Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Plastic Pins:
- Using a flat-head screwdriver, remove the center of the plastic push-pin fasteners (2) located on the bottom of the fascia. Remove the rest of the fastener.

Remove Hardware:
- Using a 15mm socket, remove the bottom 10mm nut assembly from the lower bumper stud on each side.

Fish Wire Installation:
- Use the reverse fish wire method (refer to Figures 1 and 2 in the instructions) to install items 1 (carriage bolts) and 2 (spacer blocks) into the 1-inch hole in the frame on both sides.

Trim Fascia:
- Measure 3-1/4" wide and 5" tall at the center (bottom edge) of the fascia. Trim the section as needed (obtain the vehicle owner’s permission before trimming).

Install Hitch:
- Gently pull on the fascia and raise the hitch into position, ensuring that the hardware does not fall back into the frame. Reinstall the 10mm nuts removed in Step 2. Feed the fish wire through the hitch attachment holes and install items 3 (nuts) and 4 (conical washers).

Tighten Fasteners:
- Torque all 7/16"-14 GR5 hardware to 50 Lb.-Ft. (68 N*M).
- Torque the 10mm nut assemblies to 38 Lb.-Ft. (52 N*M).

Reinstall Plastic Pins:
- Reinstall the plastic push-pin fasteners removed in Step 1.

- (2) Carriage Bolts: 7/16"-14 x 1.75" GR5
- (2) Spacer Blocks: 1/4" x 7/8" x 3"
- (2) Nuts: 7/16"-14 GR2
- (2) Conical Tooth Washers: 7/16"
- (2) Fish Wires: 7/16"
Safety Notes:
- Regularly inspect all fasteners and the hitch ball to ensure they remain securely tightened.
- Plug any holes in the trunk pan or body panels if the hitch is removed to prevent water or exhaust fumes from entering.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
- Always observe safety precautions and wear eye protection when working beneath the vehicle.
- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
