Step-by-Step Instructions:

Lower the Exhaust:
- Remove the rubber isolators from the exhaust at the rear of the vehicle on both sides.
- If necessary, remove the isolator forward of the rear axle to provide additional clearance.
- Spray lubricant or soapy water on the hanger rods and rubber isolators to ease removal.

Install Hardware:
- Using the fish wire, feed the carriage bolts and spacers through the large access holes at the end of the vehicle frame.
- Repeat this process for both sides of the frame, ensuring the fish wires remain attached to the hardware.

Position and Install the Hitch:
- Carefully raise the hitch into position, guiding it over the mufflers.
- Feed the ends of the fish wires through the mounting holes in the hitch to align the hardware.
- Loosely install the conical washers (teeth side facing the hitch) and hex nuts to hold the hitch in place.
- Over the towhook, install the U-bolt and attach the flat washers, lock washers, and hex nuts as shown in the diagram.

Tighten All Fasteners:
- Use a torque wrench to tighten all fasteners to the specified torque:
- Tighten 7/16"-14 GR5 fasteners to 50 ft-lb (68 N*m).
- Tighten 3/8"-16 GR5 fasteners to 30 ft-lb (41 N*m).
- Use a torque wrench to tighten all fasteners to the specified torque:

Raise the Exhaust:
- Reattach the exhaust system by reinstalling the rubber isolators removed in Step 1.
Torque Specifications:
- 7/16"-14 GR5 bolts: 50 ft-lb (68 N*m)
- 3/8"-16 GR5 bolts: 30 ft-lb (41 N*m)

Installation Instructions for T-One® T-Connector for Honda CR-V

- Wire Cutters

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Prepare the Vehicle:
- Open the hatch of the vehicle and temporarily remove the rear threshold, cargo net, and cargo cover to allow access to the rear interior trim panel on the driver’s side.
- It may be helpful to fold the rear seat forward for easier access.

Remove Interior Trim Panels:
- Carefully remove the lower cargo hook by pushing in on the white plastic clip.
- Using a trim panel remover tool, carefully pull back the upper and lower trim panels on the driver’s side.

Connect the Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Gently pull back the upper trim panel to reveal the vehicle’s white 6-pin connector.
- Connect the T-One® T-Connector harness into the vehicle’s white 6-pin housing and lock it into place.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate the existing ground stud on the driver’s side.
- Loosen the bolt, place the screw eyelet on the stud, and re-tighten the bolt.
- Ensure all existing ground connections are still attached and torqued to the manufacturer's specifications.

Mount the Black Box Module:
- Apply the supplied double-sided tape to the flat side of the black box.
- Locate a flat, out-of-the-way surface and mount the T-One® T-Connector’s black box module to prevent damage or rattling.
- Clean the mounting surface with a 50/50 mixture of rubbing alcohol and water before securing the black box.

Connect the Fuse:
- For models from 2017-2022, locate the interior fuse compartment under the steering column and identify fuse location 37.
- For 2023-current models, identify fuse location 17. If a fuse is not installed, insert the 15-amp fuse included in the hardware kit.
- Note: Fuse installation may not be required for all models.

Secure the Wiring Harness:
- Use the provided cable ties to secure the remainder of the T-One® T-Connector harness.
- Avoid areas that may pinch, cut, or melt the wire.

Reassemble the Vehicle:
- Reinstall the plastic trim panels, threshold, storage covers, floor covering, and other items removed during installation.
- Ensure no wires are pinched or damaged during reassembly.

Store the 4-Flat Connector:
- When not in use, store the 4-flat harness in an out-of-the-way area in the rear cargo compartment.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Prepare the Vehicle:
- Open the hatch of the vehicle and temporarily remove the rear threshold, cargo net, and cargo cover to allow access to the rear interior trim panel on the driver’s side.
- It may be helpful to fold the rear seat forward for easier access.

Remove Interior Trim Panels:
- Carefully remove the lower cargo hook by pushing in on the white plastic clip.
- Using a trim panel remover tool, carefully pull back the upper and lower trim panels on the driver’s side.

Connect the Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Gently pull back the upper trim panel to reveal the vehicle’s white 6-pin connector.
- Connect the T-One® T-Connector harness into the vehicle’s white 6-pin housing and lock it into place.
