- Torque Wrench

- Sockets: 7/8", 8 mm, 10 mm
- 6" Socket Extension
- Flat Head Screwdriver
- Pliers (for exhaust removal)
- Tin Snips
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Remove Underbody Panel:
- Remove (9) M8 fasteners, (5-8) M10 nuts, and (1-2) plastic push-on fasteners. Unscrew the fasteners with a standard screwdriver while pulling down on the panel.
- Detach the panel and set it aside.
2. Lower Exhaust:
- Pry off the two rearmost rubber exhaust hangers using exhaust removal pliers or a suitable tool. Spray with soapy water to make this step easier.
- Support the exhaust system to prevent damage.
3. Remove Heat Shield:
- Remove the remaining (2) M10 nuts (one is above the muffler).
- Set the heat shield aside. For 2020 and newer models, the heat shield may be connected to the underbody panel and already removed in Step 1.
4. Fishwire Rearward Bolts:
- Use the fishwire method to install the carriage bolts and 2" blocks through the access hole and into the rearward attachment holes.
- Ensure the blocks are not overlapping each other and leave the pull wires attached.
5. Fishwire Forward Bolts:
- Use the reverse fishwire method to install the carriage bolts and 3" blocks into the forward attachment holes.
- Leave the pull wires attached.
6. Install Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position, starting with the passenger side over the muffler.
- Guide the pull wire ends through the attachment holes, remove the pull wires, and install conical washers (teeth side toward hitch) and 1/2" hex nuts onto the carriage bolts.
- Verify that no wires or other items are pinched between the hitch and the vehicle frame.
7. Tighten Fasteners:
- Torque all hitch fasteners to 110 lb-ft (149 N·m).
8. Trim Heat Shield:
- Trim the heat shield as necessary and reinstall the remaining portion.
- For 2020 and newer models, if the heat shield cannot be separated from the underbody panel due to metal rivets, do not trim it and return it to the vehicle owner.
9. Reinstall Exhaust Hangers:
- Raise the exhaust back into position and reinstall all exhaust hangers.
10. Trim and Reinstall Underbody Panel:
- Trim the underbody panel as necessary and reinstall it.
- For 2020 and newer models, do not trim the panel and return it to the vehicle owner.

- Always wear safety glasses during installation.
- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
- Check the hitch frequently, ensuring all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened.
- If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or body panels to prevent water and exhaust fumes from entering.

Installation Instructions for T-One® T-Connector for Chrysler Pacifica LX and Touring

- Trim Panel Remover
- 10mm Socket & Ratchet or 10mm Wrench
- 8mm Socket & Ratchet or 8mm Wrench
- Torx T27 Socket & Ratchet or Torx T27 Wrench

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove the Taillights:
- Open the rear tailgate to access the bolts holding the taillights.
- Using a Torx T27 socket or wrench, remove the taillights on both driver and passenger sides.
- Carefully pull the taillights away from the vehicle, avoiding damage to alignment pins.

Disconnect the Wiring Harness:
- Disconnect the vehicle wiring harness from both taillight sockets.
- Separate the connectors carefully, ensuring not to break the locking tabs. Clean all connector surfaces.

Prepare the Underbody Trim:
- Underneath the vehicle, partially remove the underbody trim panel by removing 8mm and 10mm bolts.
- Determine a suitable mounting point behind the rear bumper fascia on the driver’s side.
- Mount the T-One® Connector black box using the provided double-sided tape.
Warning: Mount the module with the epoxy side facing downward to prevent water accumulation.

Connect the Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Fish the T-Connector end with the yellow wires up between the bumper and vehicle body into the taillight pocket.
- Plug the T-Connector end with the yellow wire between the driver-side taillight socket and the vehicle wiring harness.

Route the Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Route the T-Connector end with the green wire to the passenger side and the 4-flat underneath the bumper.
- Route the T-Connector end with the green wire up through the opening on the passenger side.
- Repeat Step 4 for the passenger side.

Mount the 4-Flat Connector:
- Mount the 4-flat connector end in an accessible location using a bracket or electrical box (not included).

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point on the driver’s side near the connectors.
- Drill a 3/32” hole and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
Caution: Verify the area behind the surface before drilling to avoid damage or injury.

Connect the Power Wire:
- Locate the black 12-gauge power wire from the T-One® Connector black box.
- Attach the provided black wire and route it along the exterior frame or existing wiring to the engine compartment up to the battery.
Warning: Avoid routing near hot pipes, heat shields, or the fuel tank.

Connect to the Vehicle Battery:
- Disconnect the vehicle’s Negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the fuse from the yellow fuse holder. Attach the ring terminal to the Positive (+) battery cable.
- Connect the other end of the fuse holder to the black 12-gauge wire using the yellow butt connector.

Reconnect the Battery and Test:
- Reconnect the vehicle’s Negative (-) battery cable.
- Insert the 15-amp fuse into the fuse holder.
- Test the installation using a test light or trailer.

Reassemble the Vehicle:
- Reinstall the taillight assemblies, trim panels, and any other removed components, ensuring no wires are pinched or damaged.

Secure the Wiring Harness:
- Use the provided cable ties to secure the T-Connector harness, avoiding areas that may pinch, cut, or melt the wire.

Test and Verify:
- Reset the vehicle’s electrical system by temporarily removing the key from the ignition.
- Test the T-Connector functionality.
