Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Taillight Covers:
- Open the tailgate. Using a flat head screwdriver, remove (1) push rivet from the trim piece near the driver-side taillight.
- Use plastic trim tools to gently pull off the trim piece and set it aside for reuse. Repeat on the passenger side.

Remove Rear Bumper Fascia:
- Bottom Center: Use a T15 star driver to remove (4) screws. Set fasteners aside for reinstallation.
- Top Fascia Area: Use a T20 star driver to remove (2) screws near the trunk weatherstrip.
- Wheel Wells: On the driver side, use a T15 star driver to remove (3) screws from the rear side of the wheel well trim. Repeat on the passenger side.
- Disconnect Lights: Detach the light on the wheel well trim before partially removing the fascia on both sides.
- Hidden Screws: Using a 7mm socket, pull back the wheel well trim and remove (1) screw from both sides.
- Carefully disconnect all wiring harnesses from the fascia and set the fascia aside safely.

Remove Bumper Beam:
- Use a 15mm socket with a 6” extension to remove (4) M10 bolts and (4) M10 flange nuts.
- Lower the exhaust hanger bracket gently before fully removing the bumper beam. Return the bumper beam to the vehicle owner and set bolts and nuts aside for reuse.

Install Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position and align the holes with the studs in the end panel.
- Raise the exhaust hanger bracket back into position and loosely reinstall the (4) existing M10 bolts and (4) M10 flange nuts.
- Tighten all M10-1.50 fasteners to 53 lb-ft (72 N·m) using a torque wrench.

Trim Fascia:
- Locate the center of the fascia. Use a tape measure, marker, and utility knife to cut a notch in the bottom of the fascia approximately 4.25” wide by 3.5” tall.
- Ensure the area is clear of electrical wiring before trimming.

Reinstall Fascia:
- Reconnect all wiring first. Then reinstall the fascia, wheel well trim lights, and taillight covers using the original hardware removed in Steps 1 and 2.
Safety Notes:
- Regularly check all fasteners to ensure the hitch and ball mount are secure.
- If the hitch is removed, plug any holes in the trunk pan or other body panels to prevent water or exhaust fume entry.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
- Wear safety glasses and follow precautions when working beneath the vehicle.
- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
