Remove Weldnut Plugs:
- Use a flat head screwdriver to remove the plastic expanding weldnut plugs from the outside of the frame rail. Repeat for the other side.
- Return plugs to the vehicle owner.

Install Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position and align the attachment holes in the hitch with the weldnuts in the vehicle frame.

Install Fasteners:
- Loosely install the supplied M12 x 1.25 x 30mm bolts and conical washers (teeth side toward the hitch).

Torque Fasteners:
- Use a torque wrench to tighten all M12 fasteners to 68 lb-ft (92 N·m).
Safety Notes:
- Regularly inspect all fasteners to ensure the hitch and ball mount are securely attached.
- If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or body panels to prevent water or exhaust entry.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
- Always wear safety glasses and follow all safety precautions when working under the vehicle.
- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
