Lower Spare Tire:
- If present, lower the spare tire to provide access to the hitch attachment points.

Remove Existing Components:
- Remove and discard the M12 hex bolts from the ends of each frame rail, if present.
- Remove and relocate the ground wire and ground wire bolt on the driver's side frame rail, if applicable.

Position Receiver:
- Lift the receiver into position, aligning the slots in the receiver with the weld nuts in the vehicle frame.

Install Fasteners:
- Attach the M12 hex bolts and conical washers to the weld nuts in the vehicle frame.

Install Additional Fasteners:
- Secure the hitch using the provided fasteners, including carriage bolts, lock washers, and nuts, as shown in the diagram.
- Use the 1/4" x 1-1/2" x 2" block at the forward-most attachment on the driver's side for 6' bed models.

- Reinstall the ground wire and ground wire bolt into the side bracket.

Raise Spare Tire:

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Locate the vehicle’s taillight wiring harness along the inside of the left rear frame rail.
- This harness will have a connection point with connectors matching the ends of the T-connector adapter.

Separate the harness connectors.
- Note: Be careful not to break the locking tabs.
- Ensure that the mating surfaces of the connectors are free of dirt and clean them if necessary.

Insert the T-connector adapter between the harness connectors and lock into place.
- Verify that the connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs secure.
