Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Bolts and Tie-Down Brackets:
- Remove the two bolts and tie-down brackets from the vehicle frame on each side.
- Return the tie-down brackets to the vehicle owner for reinstallation if the hitch is removed.

Raise Hitch into Position:
- Raise the hitch into position and install two (2) M12 x 1.25 x 35mm bolts and conical toothed washers into the existing weld nuts on each side.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Torque all M12 CL8.8 fasteners to 68 lb-ft (92 N·m).
Warning:
- Early 1996 Models: If the vehicle is equipped with M10 fasteners, do not install the hitch.
- Failure to heed this warning could result in serious injury or death.
Torque Specifications:
- M12 CL8.8 Fasteners: 68 lb-ft (92 N·m)
Hardware List:
- (4) M12 x 1.25 x 35mm CL8.8 Bolts
- (4) Conical Toothed Washers
