Step-by-Step Instructions:

Prepare Frame Rails:
- Scrape the frame rails to remove any undercoating or debris.
- Run the M12 bolts into the existing weldnuts in the frame rail to remove any debris, then remove the bolts.

Position the Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position, aligning the slots in the hitch side brackets with the existing weldnuts in the vehicle frame rail.

Install Fasteners:
- Secure the hitch using five (5) M12 x 1.25 x 40mm CL10.9 bolts and five (5) conical toothed washers.
- Ensure the toothed side of the washers faces the hitch.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Use a torque wrench to tighten all M12 CL10.9 fasteners to 75 lb-ft (102 N·m).

Verify Installation:
- Check the hitch to ensure it is securely mounted to the vehicle and all fasteners are properly tightened.
- Recheck periodically during use.

Installation Instructions for T-One® T-Connector for Nissan Murano
Part Numbers:

- Drill (3/32” Drill Bit)
- Phillips Head Screwdriver

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Open Rear Hatch:
- Temporarily remove the rear threshold plate, storage covers, and floor covering.

Remove Rear Interior Trim Panels:
- Partially remove the interior trim panels on both the driver and passenger sides of the vehicle.
- Remove trim panel fasteners carefully to avoid damage.
-
Locate the Vehicle’s Taillight Wiring Harness:
- On both sides, locate the taillight wiring harness connection points.
- Separate the connectors carefully, ensuring not to break the locking tabs. All connector surfaces should be clean and free of dirt.

Connect the Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Insert the T-One® T-Connector end with the yellow wire between the driver-side wiring connectors.
- Ensure connectors are fully inserted and locking tabs are secure.

Route the Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Route the T-One® T-Connector with the green wire behind the panels and along the threshold to the passenger side.
- Repeat Step 4 for the passenger-side T-Connector.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the connector inside the vehicle.
- Clean the area of dirt and rustproofing. Drill a 3/32” hole and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
Caution: Verify the area behind any surface before drilling to avoid vehicle damage or personal injury.

Connect the Power Wire:
- Locate the 1-pin housing taped to the taillight harness on the driver’s side. Plug the 1-pin housing from the T-One® T-Connector into the vehicle’s housing.

Install the Fuse:
- Open the vehicle hood and locate the fuse box on the driver’s side near the front.
- Open the fuse door and locate the position labeled 30A Trailer.
- Insert the 15-amp fuse provided with the T-One® package. Close the fuse door.
Note: If there is already a fuse in the trailer position, skip this step.

Mount the Black Box:
- On the driver’s side, mount the T-One® T-Connector black box using the provided double-sided tape.
- Secure the remaining harness with cable ties to prevent damage or rattling. Avoid areas that could cut or pinch the wire.

Reinstall Interior Components:
- Reinstall the plastic trim panels, threshold, storage covers, floor covering, and any other items removed during installation.
- Ensure no wires are pinched or cut.

Test the Installation:
- Test the installation using a test light or trailer. For the initial test, reset the vehicle’s electrical system by temporarily removing the key from the ignition.
Specifications:
- Max. stop/turn light: 4.2 amps per side
- Max. tail lights: 7.5 amps
