Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Factory Hitch:
- If a factory-installed hitch is present, remove it.
- Remove the factory-installed M14 bumper bolts on both sides from the bottom surface of the frame and return them to the vehicle owner.

Raise Hitch:
- Position the hitch and align it with the existing holes where the factory bolts were removed.
- Secure the hitch using the provided M14 bolts with flat washers and lock washers.

Install Carriage Bolts:
- Insert 1/2"-13 carriage bolts with spacers through the next open hole in the frame and hitch.
- Secure each bolt with a 1/2" flat washer, 1/2" lock washer, and 1/2" hex nut.

Drill Additional Holes:
- Using the remaining hole in the hitch bracket as a guide, drill a 1/2" hole into each frame rail.

Installation for 3/4 Ton Vehicles:
- Insert spacers with 1/2"-13 carriage bolts down through the drilled holes in the frame and hitch.
- Secure each bolt with a 1/2" flat washer, 1/2" lock washer, and 1/2" hex nut.

Installation for All Other Vehicles:
- Place a 1/4" x 1-1/2" x 3" spacer between the hitch and frame rail on both sides.
- Use the pull wire to guide the carriage bolt and spacer through the drilled holes in the frame.
- Secure each bolt with a 1/2" flat washer, 1/2" lock washer, and 1/2" hex nut.

Tighten All Fasteners:
- Use a torque wrench to tighten:
- M14 CL10.9 bolts to 115 lb-ft (156 N*m)
- 1/2"-13 GR5 bolts to 75 lb-ft (102 N*m)
- Use a torque wrench to tighten:

- 1/2"-13 GR5 bolts: 75 lb-ft (102 N*m)
