Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Skid Shield (If Equipped):
- If the vehicle is equipped with a fuel tank skid shield, remove six (6) M12 fasteners holding the shield to the vehicle frame rails.
- Discard the bolts and retain the skid shield for reinstallation.

Raise Hitch into Position:
- Raise the hitch into position and install six (6) M12 x 1.75 x 40mm CL8.8 bolts with conical toothed washers into the existing weldnuts in the vehicle frame.
- Ensure the fuel tank skid shield is sandwiched between the hitch and the vehicle frame rails during reinstallation.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Torque all M12 CL8.8 fasteners to 68 lb-ft (92 N·m).
Torque Specifications:
- M12 CL8.8 Fasteners: 68 lb-ft (92 N·m)
Hardware List:
- (6) M12 x 1.75 x 40mm CL8.8 Bolts
- (6) Conical Toothed Washers
Safety Notes:
- Regularly inspect the hitch to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened.
