Installation Instructions for Fiat 500, 500c (Convertible), and 500 Turbo
Note: Turbo model requires fascia trimming.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Prepare Vehicle:
- Lower the spare tire (if present) and raise the vehicle.

Remove Spare Tire Lift (if applicable):
- For models with a spare tire, remove the spare tire lift by detaching (2) M8 screws and (1) M8 nut using a M13 socket.
- Remove the rubber plug from the frame and fish wire a carriage bolt and block (Items 5 and 6) through the hole. Replace the rubber plug and spare tire lift, leaving the fish wire attached to the bolt.

Remove Fascia Mounting Screws:
- Detach the two fascia mounting screws from the fascia supports using an M8 wrench.

Lower Muffler:
- Remove the pins from the two rubber mounts at the rear of the muffler. Apply lubricant and gently pull the exhaust rearward for easier removal.

Install Plates on Bumper Support:
- Place the plates (Item 2) on top of the bumper support and install carriage bolts (Item 1).
- Tip: Insert the plate from the center with the outer bolt already in place.

Position Hitch:
- Gently pull down the fascia and slide the hitch between the fascia and its support.
- For turbo models, trim the center fin flush and horizontal to the lower edge of the bumper as per the provided diagram.

Install Hardware:
- Thread the fish wire through the appropriate hole in the hitch bracket and raise the hitch into position.
- Loosely install washers and nuts to the bolts (Item 1). Pull the fish wire to position the bolt, then remove the fish wire and install the washer and nut.
- Attach the M8 bolt and washer (Items 8 and 9) through the bracket and into the weld nut in the frame.

Secure Hitch:
- Push the hitch forward and tighten all fasteners to the specified torque values:
- 1/2" fasteners: 50 Lb.-Ft. (68 N*M)
- M8 fasteners: 20 Lb.-Ft. (27 N*M)
- Push the hitch forward and tighten all fasteners to the specified torque values:

- (4) 1/2”-13 x 4.00” Carriage Bolts (GR5)
- (1) 1/2”-13 x 1.75” Carriage Bolt (GR5)
- (2) Plates: 3-1/16” x 6-3/4” x 3/16”
