Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Frame Rail Plugs:
- Remove two (2) round plugs from the sides of the frame rail and one (1) square plug from the bottom of the frame rail on each side.
- Return the four (4) round plugs to the owner.

Install Bolts and Spacers:
- Feed the pull wire through the holes in the side of the frame and out through the access holes.
- Attach a spacer and carriage bolt to the pull wire and feed them one at a time into the frame rail.
- Leave the pull wire attached. Repeat for both frame rails.

Secure Carriage Bolts:
- Push the carriage bolt with the pull wire back into the frame rail, leaving the pull wire sticking out.

Position Hitch:
- Feed the pull wires through the holes on the hitch brackets.
- Raise the hitch into position. For dual exhaust models, locate the hitch near the muffler, then raise it along the exhaust pipes and move it rearward into position.

Attach Fasteners:
- Pull the carriage bolts back into place, carefully remove the pull wire, and attach the conical washers and hex nuts.

Torque Fasteners:
- Tighten all 1/2”-13 GR5 fasteners to 75 Lb.-Ft. (102 N*M) using a torque wrench.

Reinstall Square Plugs:
- Reinstall the square plugs removed in Step 1.

- (4) Carriage Bolts: 1/2”-13 x 2.00” GR5
- (4) Spacers: 1/4” x 1.00” x 3.00”
- (4) Conical Washers: 1/2”
- (4) Hex Nuts: 1/2”-13

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Open the Trunk:
- Remove the threshold panel and partially remove the corner felt trunk liner on both sides to expose the taillight wiring harness.
-
Access and Disconnect Wiring:
- Behind the taillights, locate the connection points matching the ends of the T-Connector adapter.
- On the driver’s side, separate the vehicle’s wiring connectors, ensuring not to break the locking tabs.
- Insert the T-Connector end with the yellow wire between the vehicle wiring connectors and lock it into place. Ensure all connectors are fully inserted and secure.

Route the Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Route the T-Connector end with the green wire to the passenger side behind the panels and along the threshold.
- Repeat Step 2 for the passenger-side connection.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point on the driver’s side near the connectors.
- Drill a 3/32” hole and secure the white wire with the provided eyelet and screw.
Caution: Verify what is behind any surface before drilling to avoid damage or injury.

Connect the T-Connector’s Black Box:
- Locate the grey 12-pin connector and insert it into the mating connector on the black box.
- Mount the black box in a dry, secure location using the provided double-sided tape.

Connect the Power Wire:
- Inside the vehicle, connect the black 12-gauge wire and the black wire from the T-Connector black box using the supplied yellow butt connector.
- Locate the vehicle’s red blunt cut power wire near the driver-side taillight plugs and connect it.

Install the Fuse Holder:
- Open the vehicle hood and locate the fuse/relay box near the battery.
- Remove the lid and locate the red blunt cut power wire.
- Disconnect the vehicle’s Negative (-) battery cable.
- Attach the fuse holder to the Positive (+) battery cable with the ring terminal and connect it to the red blunt cut power wire using the yellow butt connector.

Reconnect the Battery and Install Fuse:
- Reconnect the vehicle’s Negative (-) battery cable and install the 10-amp fuse into the fuse holder.
- Test and verify the installation with a test light or trailer.

Secure the Harness:
- Secure the T-Connector harness with the provided cable ties to prevent damage or rattling.
- Avoid areas that may pinch, cut, or melt the wires.

Reassemble the Vehicle:
- Replace any removed carpet, clips, and panels, ensuring no wires are pinched or cut.

Store the 4-Flat Connector:
- Store the 4-flat connector in the trunk area when not in use.
