Installation Time:

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Rivets:
- Remove the rearmost rivet on the bottom of each frame rail using a drill for easier removal. Enlarge the hole in the frame rail if necessary (see Step 5).

Position Hitch as Template:
- Raise the hitch into position, aligning the rear hole in the hitch with the hole from the removed rivet.

Clamp Hitch:
- Securely clamp the hitch to the end of the frame rail.

Mark Holes:
- Using the hitch as a template, mark the center of each attachment hole.

Drill Frame Holes:
- Remove the hitch and drill three (3) 11/16" holes in each frame rail. Use a small pilot hole for guidance and remove any burrs.
- Warning: Do not drill into fuel or electrical lines. Take appropriate precautions.

Install Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position and install the provided fasteners as shown in Figure 1.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Torque all M16 CL10.9 fasteners to 210 lb-ft (285 N*m) using a torque wrench.
Torque Specifications:
- M16 CL10.9 fasteners: 210 lb-ft (285 N*m)
Hardware List:
- (6) Hex Flanged Bolts, M16 x 2.00 x 50mm CL10.9
- (6) Flange Locknuts, M16 x 2.00 CL10
Safety Notes:
- Frequently check the hitch to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
- If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the frame or body panels to prevent water or exhaust fumes from entering.
- Always wear safety glasses and observe safety precautions when working beneath the vehicle.
- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
