Step-by-Step Instructions:

Bottom Appearance Panel Removal:
- Use a flat head screwdriver to remove (2) plastic rivets attached to the upper panel, then remove the upper panel.
- Use a 10mm socket and Philips screwdriver to remove (4) bolts attached to the lower panel, then remove the lower panel.

Hitch Installation:
- Raise the hitch into position and loosely install:
- M12 bolt (Qty. 4) with conical washer (Qty. 2) at the rearward vehicle cross frame weldnuts.
- M12 bolt with flat washers (Qty. 3) and lock washers (Qty. 2) at the forward vehicle cross frame weldnuts.
- Insert 1/2”-13 bolt and flat washer into the bumper beam, then loosely secure with flange nut.
- Raise the hitch into position and loosely install:

Torque Fasteners:
- Tighten all fasteners with a torque wrench to 75 lb-ft (102 N·m).

Lower Panel Trimming:
- Trim the lower panel as shown in the provided diagram (approx. 7" x 5.5" x 4").
- Perform additional trimming if necessary.

Reinstall Appearance Panels:
- Reinstall the upper and lower appearance panels removed in Step 1.

- (4) M12 x 1.75 x 35mm CL10.9 Bolts
- (2) 1/2" Conical Washers
- (3) 1/2" Flat Washers
- (2) 1/2" Lock Washers

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Locate the Access Cover:
- Locate the access cover on the vehicle's rear bumper area.
- Using a screwdriver, unfasten the two clips holding the cover to the vehicle and remove it.

Connect the Tow Plug Adapter:
- Locate the grey 6-pin connector behind the access cover area.
- Remove the protective cap from the factory tow harness.
- Check and clean the mating surface to ensure it is free of dirt.
- Insert the 6-pin tow plug adapter and lock it into place, ensuring all connectors are fully inserted and the locking tabs are secure.

Secure the Ground Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the connector, such as an existing ground stud.
- Alternatively, drill a 3/32” hole and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
- Clean the grounding area of dirt and rustproofing before securing the wire.
Caution:
- Verify the surface behind before drilling to avoid damage or injury. Do not drill into exposed surfaces.

Secure the T-One® T-Connector Harness:
- Use the provided cable ties to secure the remainder of the T-Connector harness.
- Avoid routing the wire near areas that could pinch, cut, or melt the wire.

Mount the 4-Flat Connector:
- Mount the 4-flat connector in an accessible location using a bracket or electrical box (not included).

Replace the Access Cover:
- Reattach the cover that was removed during installation.
