Step-by-Step Instructions:

Prepare Self-Tapping Bolts:
- Start threading the self-tapping bolts (Item 5) into the designated locations on the frame rail.
- Ensure the bolts are perpendicular to the frame rail and thread halfway or more before removing the bolts for later reinstallation.

Install Carriage Bolts:
- Feed the pull wire through the forward slot in the frame rail and out the open end of the frame.
- Attach the carriage bolt and spacer to the pull wire and pull them into position through the forward hole. Leave pull wires attached.

Raise Hitch into Position:
- Align the hitch with the frame rails and feed pull wires through the hitch slots. Use conical washers to hold bolts in place while removing the pull wires.
- Attach hex nuts and tighten to hold the hitch in place. Repeat on the opposite side.

Reinstall Self-Tapping Bolts:
- Secure the hitch with self-tapping bolts. Once all bolts are in place, center the hitch on the vehicle and tighten.

Torque Fasteners:
- Tighten all fasteners to the specified torque values:
- M12 x 1.75 fasteners: 75 lb-ft (102 N*m)
- 1/2"-13 GR5 fasteners: 75 lb-ft (102 N*m)
- Tighten all fasteners to the specified torque values:

Installation Instructions for T-One® T-Connector for Ford Transit 350
Part Numbers:

- Trim Panel Remover
- Drill (3/32” Drill Bit)
- Phillips Head Screwdriver

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove the Taillights:
- Open the rear door and remove the screws securing the taillights on both the driver and passenger sides.
- Carefully pull the taillights away from the vehicle, avoiding damage to the alignment pins.

Disconnect the Wiring Harness:
- Locate the vehicle’s taillight wiring harness on both sides. The harness will have a connection point matching the ends of the T-One® T-Connector.
- Separate the connector carefully, ensuring not to break the locking tabs. Clean all connectors to ensure a proper connection.

Install the Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Insert the T-One® T-Connector end with the yellow wire between the vehicle wiring connectors and lock it into place. Ensure the connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs secured.

Route the Green Wire to the Passenger Side:
- Route the harness containing the green wire and 4-flat connector through the opening behind the driver-side taillight.
- Continue routing underneath the vehicle to the passenger side, bringing the green wire up through the opening behind the passenger-side taillight.
Warning: Avoid hot pipes, heat shields, fuel tanks, or other areas where the wire could be pinched or damaged.

Install the Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Repeat Step 3 for the passenger side using the T-One® T-Connector end with the green wire.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the connectors on the driver’s side.
- Drill a 3/32” hole and secure the white wire with the provided eyelet and screw.
Caution: Verify the surface before drilling to avoid vehicle damage or personal injury.

Prepare the Power Wire:
- Open the hood and locate the positive 12V power post. Using a 15mm socket, remove the nut.
- If not already done, remove the fuse from the yellow fuse holder. Attach the ring terminal to the positive battery post and secure it with the removed nut.
- Connect the other end of the fuse holder to the black 12-gauge power wire using the yellow butt connector.

Route the Power Wire:
- Route the black wire from the engine compartment to the rear driver’s side of the vehicle.
- Connect the black wire to the red power wire located on the T-One® T-Connector black box using the yellow butt connector.
Warning: Avoid routing the wire near hot pipes, heat shields, or fuel tanks.

Reconnect the Battery:
- Reconnect the vehicle’s negative (-) battery cable.
- Install the 15-amp fuse into the fuse holder.
Warning: Ensure all connections are complete before testing. Test the installation with a test light or trailer. For the initial test, reset the vehicle’s electrical system by temporarily removing the key from the ignition.

Mount the T-One® Black Box:
- Mount the black box using the provided double-sided tape. Ensure the epoxy side faces downward to prevent water accumulation.
- Secure the remainder of the T-One® harness with the provided cable ties, avoiding areas that could pinch, cut, or damage the wire.

Reassemble the Vehicle:
- Reinstall the taillight housing assemblies and any panels or trim removed earlier. Ensure the wiring is properly routed and secured.

Store the 4-Flat Connector:
- Mount the 4-flat connector in an accessible location using a bracket or electrical box (not included).
