Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove Tow Hooks:
- Remove the tow hook (shown in the illustration) from both sides of the vehicle frame using a 19mm wrench.
- Return the tow hooks to the vehicle owner.

Position the Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position.
- Align the two rearmost holes on each side bracket with the two rearmost holes on each side of the vehicle frame.
- Install the supplied bolts and conical toothed washers.

Secure Fasteners:
- Tighten all M12 x 1.25 CL8.8 fasteners to 76 lb-ft (103 N·m) using a torque wrench.
Hardware List:
- (6) Hex Bolts: M12 x 1.25 x 35mm CL8.8
- (6) Conical Toothed Washers: 1/2"
Safety Notes:
- Check the hitch frequently to ensure all fasteners and the ball are properly tightened.
- If the hitch is removed, plug all holes in the trunk pan or body panels to prevent the entry of water and exhaust fumes.
- Replace any damaged hitch or ball immediately.
- Always wear eye protection and observe safety precautions when working beneath the vehicle.
- Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
