Step-by-Step Instructions:

Position Hitch:
- Hold the hitch up under the frame.
- Position the holes in the brackets over the rivet heads at the rear of the frame.
- Clamp the hitch in place to prevent movement.

Install Carriage Bolts:
- Insert 1/2” carriage bolts with bolt plates through the holes in the frame beside the spring hangers.
- Use 1/2” serrated washers, 1/2” lock washers, and 1/2” nuts to secure the bolts.
- If access is limited due to gas tank placement, screw the bolt onto the pull wire and guide it through a more open area in the frame to the hole.

Drill Rear Holes:
- Using the rear holes in the bracket as a guide, drill 5/8” holes into the bottom of the frame.
- Install 5/8” bolts with 5/8” flat washers through the drilled holes and secure them with 5/8” flat washers, 5/8” lock washers, and 5/8” nuts.

Tighten Fasteners:
- Torque 1/2” nuts to 70 lb-ft.
- Torque 5/8” nuts to 115 lb-ft.
Torque Specifications:
- 1/2” nuts: 70 lb-ft
- 5/8” nuts: 115 lb-ft
