- 10mm Socket & Ratchet or 10mm Wrench

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Open the Trunk:
- Remove the threshold panel.
- Partially remove the corner felt trunk liner on both sides to expose the vehicle’s taillight wiring harness.

Remove the Taillight Assemblies:
- Locate the bolts holding the taillights in place.
- Using a Torx 20 driver, remove the two bolts on each side.
- Carefully pull the taillights away from the vehicle, ensuring not to damage the alignment pins.

Access the Wiring Harness:
- Locate the vehicle’s taillight wiring harness on both sides of the vehicle.
- Disconnect the wiring harness from the taillight sockets.
-
Route the T-Connector Wiring:
- Locate the grommet between the taillight pocket and trunk.
- On both sides, unseat the grommet and slit it to allow for the T-Connector wiring.
- Route the T-Connector ends through the grommet hole and into the taillight pocket, reseating the grommet around the wires.
- Leave the 4-flat connector and black converter box in the cargo area.

Connect the Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Insert the T-One® Connector end with the yellow wire between the vehicle’s wiring connectors.
- Ensure connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs securely in place.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the connector, such as an existing ground stud, or drill a 3/32” hole.
- Secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
- Caution: Verify what is behind the surface before drilling to avoid damage or injury.

Connect the Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Route the green wire connector down the threshold to the passenger side.
- Insert the T-One® Connector end with the green wire between the passenger-side wiring connectors and lock it into place.

Route the Power Wire:
- Locate the black 12-gauge power wire from the T-One® Converter box.
- Attach the provided black wire and route it along the vehicle’s frame to the engine compartment, avoiding hot pipes, heat shields, or areas that may pinch or damage the wire.

Connect to the Vehicle Battery:
- Disconnect the vehicle’s Negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the fuse from the yellow fuse holder. Attach the ring terminal to the Positive (+) battery cable.
- Connect the other end of the fuse holder to the black wire using the provided yellow butt connector.

Reconnect the Battery and Test:
- Reconnect the Negative (-) battery cable and insert the 15-amp fuse into the fuse holder.
- Test the installation using a test light or trailer. Reset the vehicle’s electrical system by temporarily removing the key from the ignition.

Secure the Wiring Harness:
- Use the provided cable ties to secure the T-One® Connector harness, avoiding areas that could pinch, cut, or melt the wire.

Reassemble the Vehicle:
- Reinstall the plastic trim panels, threshold, and other components removed during installation.
- Ensure no wires are pinched or damaged.

Store the 4-Flat Connector:
- Store the 4-flat connector in the rear cargo area when not in use.
