Step-by-Step Instructions:

Remove the Taillight Assemblies:
- Open the tailgate to access the vehicle’s taillight housing assemblies.
- Use a trim panel remover to remove the square covers that expose the taillight screws.
- Remove the screws and carefully pull the taillight housings away from the vehicle, ensuring not to damage the alignment pins.

Disconnect the Wiring Harness:
- Disconnect the vehicle’s wiring harness from both taillight sockets.
- On the driver’s side, fish the T-One® T-Connector end with the yellow wires up between the bumper and vehicle body into the taillight pocket.

Connect the Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Insert the T-One® Connector end with the yellow wire between the mating plugs on the driver-side taillight socket and vehicle wiring harness.

Route the Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Route the green wire of the T-One® Connector across the bumper bracket to the passenger side.
- Insert the green wire connector up through the passenger-side opening and connect it between the taillight socket and the vehicle wiring harness.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the connector. Avoid drilling into the vehicle floor or bed.
- Clean the area of dirt and rustproofing.
- Drill a 3/32” hole and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.
Caution: Verify what is behind any surface before drilling to avoid damage or injury.

Connect the Power Wire:
- Disconnect the vehicle’s Negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the fuse from the yellow fuse holder and attach the ring terminal to the Positive (+) battery cable.
- Connect the other end of the fuse holder to the black 12-gauge wire using the provided yellow butt connector.
Warning: Follow all warnings printed on the tow vehicle’s battery.

Route the Power Wire:
- Beginning at the front of the vehicle, route the black 12-gauge wire rearward along the frame rail.
- Avoid hot pipes, heat shields, and areas that may pinch or damage the wire.

Connect the Power Wire at the Rear:
- Route the black wire to the rear driver’s side, up through the opening near the rear bumper.
- Attach the black wire to the black wire from the T-One® T-Connector black box using the supplied yellow butt connector.

Reconnect the Battery and Test:
- Reconnect the Negative (-) battery cable and insert the 15-amp fuse into the fuse holder.
- Test the installation with a test light or trailer.

Mount the Black Box:
- Locate a flat, out-of-the-way surface on the driver’s side and mount the T-One® Connector black box with the provided double-sided tape.
- Ensure the epoxy side of the module faces downward to prevent water buildup.

Reinstall the Taillight Assemblies:
- Reinstall the taillight housing assemblies, positioning the vehicle wiring harness between the housing and the vehicle body.
- Secure the remainder of the T-One® T-Connector harness under the bumper with the provided cable ties, avoiding areas that could cut or pinch the wires.

Mount the 4-Flat Connector:
- Mount the 4-flat connector in a suitable location under the vehicle (bracket not included).

- Overloading circuits can cause fires. Do not exceed the stated product ratings.
- Always wear safety glasses and follow safety precautions during installation.
