Step-by-Step Instructions:

Lower Exhaust:
- Remove two (2) rubber isolators on single exhaust models and four (4) rubber isolators on dual exhaust models.
- Use lubricant or soapy water on the metal hanger rods and rubber isolators for easier removal.

Remove Heat Shield and Underbody Panel:
- Detach heat shield(s) and underbody panel (if present). Save the panel and fasteners for reinstallation.
-
Prepare Access Hole:
- Verify if the spacer and carriage bolt fit through the access hole. If not, enlarge the hole using a file or by prying with a wrench.
- Enlarge only enough to accommodate the hardware.

Feed Bolts and Spacers:
- Using the provided pull wires, guide spacers and carriage bolts into position through the access hole.
- Leave the pull wire attached. For easier insertion, do not engage the bolt and spacer while feeding them into the frame.

Install U-Bolt on Tow Hook:
- Hang the U-bolt onto the tow hook in one of the two designated positions.
-
Position Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position with the U-bolt in place and feed the pull wires through the side arm holes.
-
Attach Fasteners:
- Secure the hitch using conical washers and hex nuts. Avoid pushing the fasteners back into the frame rails.
-
Tighten Fasteners:
- Torque all 3/8” GR5 fasteners to 30 Lb.-Ft. (41 N*M).
- Torque all 7/16” GR5 fasteners to 50 Lb.-Ft. (68 N*M).

Trim Underbody Panel (if needed):
- Obtain vehicle owner’s approval before trimming the panel. Follow the dimensions shown in the diagram for trimming.
- Slide the hitch bracket through the cut-out region of the panel.

Reinstall Components:
- Raise the underbody panel into position and reinstall fasteners.
- Reattach heat shield(s) and trim minimally around new fasteners if necessary.
- Reattach exhaust. For additional clearance, bend the exhaust hanger bracket downward.

Installation Instructions for T-Connector Adapter for Honda Accord

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Open the Trunk:
- Temporarily remove the rear threshold plate.
- Partially remove the felt trunk liner behind the taillights.
-
Locate the Vehicle’s Taillight Wiring Harness:
- On both the driver’s and passenger’s sides, locate the taillight wiring harness connection points matching the T-Connector ends.
- Carefully separate the wiring connectors, ensuring not to break the locking tabs.
- Ensure all connector surfaces are clean and free of dirt.

Install the Driver-Side T-Connector:
- Connect the T-Connector end with the yellow, brown, and red wires to the driver’s side wiring connectors.
- Ensure the connectors are fully inserted and secured with locking tabs.

Route the Passenger-Side T-Connector:
- Route the T-Connector end with the green wire along the threshold and behind the panels to the passenger side.
- Repeat Step 2 to connect the green wire.

Ground the White Wire:
- Locate a suitable grounding point near the connector.
- Clean the area of dirt and rustproofing.
- Drill a 3/32” hole and secure the white wire using the provided eyelet and screw.

- Inside the vehicle, connect the black 12-gauge wire to the red wire from the T-Connector black box using the supplied yellow butt connector.

- Disconnect the vehicle’s negative (-) battery cable.
