Installation Instructions for Toyota Tacoma / X-Runner
Part Numbers:

Hardware List:
- Round Hole Spacer: 0.188 x 1.50 x 2.00" (Qty: 2)
- Hex Bolt: M12 - 1.25 x 40 HEX (Qty: 4)
- Conical Toothed Washer: 1/2" (Qty: 4)
Step-by-Step Instructions:

Support the Bumper:
- Ensure the bumper is supported to prevent it from dropping during installation.

Remove and Loosen Bolts:
- Remove two (2) hex bolts and loosen three (3) hex bolts from each of the bumper brackets as shown.

Position the Hitch:
- Raise the hitch into position between the bumper brackets and the vehicle frame rails.
- Install the supplied bolts through the hitch and into the existing frame weldnuts.

Reinstall Factory Bolts:
- Reinstall the factory bolts through the bumper brackets, hitch plates, and into the frame.

Insert Spacer Blocks:
- Remove two (2) existing hex bolts from one side of the bumper bracket and bumper structure.
- Insert two (2) spacer blocks between the bumper bracket and the bumper as shown.
- Reinstall the bolts through the bumper bracket, spacer, and into the bumper structure.
- Repeat for the other side.

Torque Fasteners:
- Torque all 12mm hardware (supplied and existing) to 86 ft-lbs.
- Torque all 10mm hardware to 48 ft-lbs.

X-Runner Only:
- Temporarily remove the X-frame support bracket during hitch installation.
- Replace the bracket after the hitch is fully installed.
Safety Notes:
- No Drilling Required: Installation uses existing weld nuts.
- Bumper Removal: Follow instructions carefully to avoid misalignment.
- Alignment Pin: If the bumper alignment pin interferes with installation, use a saw or cutoff wheel to remove it.

Disconnect the Negative Battery Terminal:
- Locate the vehicle battery on the driver side under the hood.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety during installation.

Access the Taillight Assemblies:
- For Toyota Tacoma:
- Open the vehicle's tailgate.
- Remove the 10mm screws securing the taillights.
- Carefully remove the taillights to expose the wiring connectors.
- For Toyota T-100:
- Identify the wiring harness connection points located on the driver and passenger sides of the frame.
- For Toyota Tacoma:

Disconnect the Taillight Connectors:
- The connectors will resemble those on the T-connector harness.
